Title: Robinson Jeffers Post by: OswaldTheOsprey on December 18, 2007, 11:15:18 PM Justin Raimondo has a fascinating yet troubling story in the currest issue of The American Conservative, Pat Buchanan's fortnightly journal of opinion, on poet Robinson Jeffers. A leading literary figure of the interwar years, Jeffers ran afoul of the internationalist establishment during the war riddled 1940s. A true non-conformist like fellow poet Ezra Pound.

Also, the last time I checked the literary establishment was not connected with the Post Office. I actually only know him from this stamp, still having the first-day cover from when I collected them as a kid.
