Sorry Jane  ;D

Iran has just unblocked Google

Iran blocks and then unblocks Google (http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,22434601-5005962,00.html)

Quote
IRAN has unblocked access to the Google search engine and its Gmail email service after briefly filtering them owing to an "error", the Fars news agency reported.

"Due to an error, the Google site was filtered on Sunday evening but the error was corrected and now Google and its different sites like Gmail can be used," said an official from the state-run communications company.

It seems it was all an error.

Now from person who deals with web perspective this was just a massive trojan set up to all Iranians so now Gmail accounts and search results will go directly to Iranian secret services

I wouldn't use Gmail or Google if i was Iranian,,,

So you're saying millions upon millions of emails will be read by Iranian intelligence? How is this feasible?

BTW, what are the Iranian secret services called?

There was no ERROR...something was done in that down time.

Gov'ts don't just come across errors shutting down whole google...something covert is probably going on.

I'm guessing its domestic monitoring of the site and Google prolly complied with it...just a speculative guess though.
