Title: Stop the Bail Out
Post by: Quarken on March 28, 2008, 11:27:29 AM
This site has some pretty good arguments on the unintended consequences of the mortgage bail out.  If you're a bank, you should have known better; if you're a buyer, tax payers should not be insuring your bad decisions.

On a certain level, there is some justice perhaps in what the site says. However, these problems rarely affect only the direct participants. Keep in mind also that this situation is an outgrowth of doing away with the Glass-Steagal law from the Great Depression.
