Title: Stone's Bush biopic to hit screens before elections Post by: shobhnasingh on May 12, 2008, 04:00:12 AM US PRESIDENT, George W Bush, will soon hit the celluloid. Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone’s biopic, depicting the life and times of Bush, will be released three weeks before the presidential elections in November.
The film, titled ’W’, is expected to hit the theatres on October 17. This is less than a month before the voters head to the polls to elect Bush’s successor on November 4. This was reported by the entertainment industry journal ’Daily Variety’. Stone’s film has already aroused immense interest among the people. The biopic, which will star Josh Brolin, of the ’No Country for Old Men’ fame, in the lead role, has Elizabeth Banks in the role of first lady Laura Bush.
