Crap! Looks like that American politicians try to fool us all over again! I've got only hope that Yankees will not be able to do what they did when our former president Musharraf was in power! It's clear that Washington is attempting to create so called "combined force" of Pakistani, Afghani and US military (allegedly for joint operations against Talib’s insurgents) with the only goal – to have freedom of action on our territory! We know pretty well what results of cooperation of Afghani authority were with US hawks over fighting against insurrectionary movements! It only engineered large-scale violence in Afghanistan that grew twice as severe from 2005 to 2007. As for bringing more and more US troops to Afghanistan, it resulted in whomping increase of body count of Afghan people! Do we really want the same in our country? Of course not! That's why I think that was a right decision of Pakistani military authorities to deny military cooperation with the US! Defending the sovereignty of this country is their primary task!

I take it you don't believe this? You do not believe that Taliban insurgents are crossing the Pakistan border to engage actions in Afghanisstan and then returning to Pakistan accross the same border? This is just nonsense and poppycock to you I suppose? A false pretense?


If not for taliban insurgents, just what is it you think they want with your territory? Exactly what exports, resources or gains do you feel the 'Yankees' are after there?

Pound your chest all you want. Burn all the flags and effigies you want. If insurgents are going to run shotgun campaigns back and forth accross the border what do you think is going to happen? NATO/US will just pack up and go home? Think again.

If you want your sovereignty secure then you have to eliminate the forces in Pakistan who are undermining Afganistans sovereignty.

The USA's best weapon is still a total trade embargo against a nation and any who use its products in their own.

As the world looks like now US may stay alone with such policy. Russia back to cold war so never forget that. I expect arrival of Putin to Pakistan on war plane soon.

If you don't want US troops in your garden, you better fight the taliban more effectively than under Musharraff. Sort of what Zardari is doing but a little bit more.
