Title: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: illy on October 06, 2007, 03:49:30 PM (https://www.hotmoviesale.com/dvds/8204/1/Battlefield-Earth.jpg)
I nominate Battlefield Earth, starring John Travolta. Here's a special cut of the film (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4020235914096816133&q=battlefield+earth&total=246&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0) that makes it a little better, but it's still pretty bad. What would you say the worst movie ever made was? Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: Biker Dude on October 06, 2007, 09:15:08 PM I would be tempted to agree with you....
Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: 14-years-old-jane on October 06, 2007, 09:36:56 PM this was a tribute movie to Scientology...
Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: illy on October 06, 2007, 10:26:28 PM Film critic Elvis Mitchell referred to it as "Plan Nine From Outer Space for a new generation."
Comparing the two is a flagrant insult to Ed Wood. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: bringbackwigs on October 07, 2007, 12:46:36 AM I own every Ed Wood movie. How dare you!
Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: illy on October 07, 2007, 08:46:10 AM I own every Ed Wood movie. How dare you! ???You think Plan 9 is a good comparison to Battlefield Earth? Plan 9 was good because it was bad. Entirely different scenario. Like I said, comparing Travolta to Wood is an insult to Wood. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: 2112 on October 07, 2007, 01:25:33 PM Let's see...
Van Wilder, anything with Adam Sandler (except Punch Drunk Love), all Chevy Chase movies (because he is a talentless schmuck), anything with Jean Claude Van Damme, Lady in the Water, most British comedies, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Moulin Rouge or any musical ever, including Singing In The Rain, The Whiz, musicals suck. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: Gojira on October 08, 2007, 12:56:38 PM Fantastic Four. It was fantastically terrible.
However, the worst ever has got to be the Pacifier. I believe that their is a trend in which the more modern the movie is the more probability that it will be complete crap. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: bringbackwigs on October 08, 2007, 06:10:59 PM Corky Romano.
Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: OswaldTheOsprey on October 08, 2007, 07:23:57 PM Kingdom Of Heaven-long, boring and pretentious.
OswaldTheOsprey Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: thief on October 08, 2007, 08:30:45 PM It is honestly very difficult to pick the worst movie.
For example do you go based off big budget:disappointment? Star Wars Episode 1 Just plain cheesy? Van wilders/any Vacation after the first 2. or horrible acting? any scifi channel movie (although I like the scifi channel) Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: Jericoacoara on October 09, 2007, 01:48:39 AM Oh, I just thought of one that would be worse then the above.
The cook, the thief, his wife, the lover What a doozie of a film that was ::) Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: Perrin on October 09, 2007, 07:18:53 AM Gigli was bad and Glitter was worse
Then you have: From Justin to Kelly (an american idol movie) Howard the Duck Osmosis Jones Ishtar Holy Man Waterworld and The Postman There are plenty of others out there, but these are just a few. Oh and M. Night Shamalyn's last movie was pretty bad too, can't remember the name. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: Opmod on October 09, 2007, 07:56:33 AM Riders of the Storm

Take your pick. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever. Post by: illy on October 14, 2007, 12:19:21 AM Waterworld and The Postman If any film could challenge Battlefield Earth's status as the absolute worst, it would be one of these two. I think a DVD or VHS with both of those movies back to back would quite possibly be the worst video production ever. Title: Re: Worst. Movie. Ever.
