Title: Sarkozy is traitor Post by: Trucker on October 16, 2007, 06:31:28 AM Have we ever seen anything good and useful from the French? (Besides champagne, women and French kiss I mean ;) ) Oh yes, they smile and assure us of their friendship. Then why their President behaved himself as Russian doggy during his visit to RF? Sarkozy showered praises and rather important promises at Russians. You see it turns out that closest cooperation with Moscow is energy future of France!
What else did he promise to Putin I wonder? May be to call off French forces from Afghanistan? But their contingent is smaller than Canadian and Dutch ones. We even won’t sense lack of French their. Of course with such manpower Minister of Defence of France can hurry Condy to begin Iranian military operation. Once again our blood would be spilled and French would be smiling and singing about big American and French friendship. In return US would bear great human and financial losses. And France would get its share in Iranian energy supply. I understand they’ll use it for “closest cooperation with Moscow in energy future of France”. Sarkozy is supposed to look out for France and this country. The same with Putin in Russia. One way for the United States to avoid great human and financial losses is to mind its own business and avoid trying to run the world. Great human and financial losses come with trying to be the world's policeman, banker and social worker. We, in Europe, don't blame you for your good relations with corruption and mafia central Mexico. So shut up. If your soldiers got killed, it's because you decided to send them to certain death. That's your choice. French never ask american servicemen to die in Iraq. Sarkozy (nor any other leader) owes this country anything. Nor does the U.S. owe anything to other nations. Nice try at not looking like an ignorant, Trucker... anyway your last post somehow spoiled it all. ::) (Just for the record, France is of the less energetically dependant countries in Europe... spell with me, "France has got almost one nuclear powerplant per million citizens and is a net electricty exporter". That should make it clearer. Anwyay I wouldn't say the same about Germany and the 60% of winter heating power they get from Russia, or about Spain and how it imports 78% of its energy supply...) NOW, today, I've surely changed my mind. He knows what he's doing and that really is a change from former POFs. I just hope that the next POTUS is of the same strenght. I also like his women but that's for another thread... and has nothing to do with politics. I don't like Sarko one bit, but he is the concern of les français and nobody else.
If Trucker or others don't want the US to bear the burden of wars - then quit starting them! The world owes us nothing and we owe the world nothing. OswaldTheOsprey
