The question is how do we change the laws which require vaccines or take the things out of them that hurt children? They have already supposedly taken thymerosol out of them. Some vaccines offer a thymerosol free version at up to 10 times the cost and are never available at health clinics, only to people with the means to pay extra. And again, only some are thymerosol free. Now, recently Bush vetoed a bill that would have required the thymerosol to be removed, so lucky for the guys putting this crap into our kids vacciines, they still get to dose us with mercury. So, no, the thymerosol continues to be the preservative of choice for many of our vaccines. Read the insert the next time you get a flu shot. Read it with your doctor after your doctor says what you just said, "that they removed the thymerosol." And that doesn't even address the inclusion of animal dna into your kids genonome. I mean what studies are done in the injection of animal blood, monkey blood, into children at birth? Are we sure that's safe? Really? How is that? There is no safe level of intake for these substances on a consistent basis because the body has no way to get rid of it. It builds up. However this is not a theory any longer: introducing small amounts of an infectious substance does give the immune system the only chance it needs to learn how to combat it. The immune system does this with everything from dust to the common cold. It is a learning system. So no. You can yell it from the mountain tops and no one is going to stop vaccinating their children. Ahk And you obviously did NOT watch the video either to learn that the US is NOT the world leader in prevention of the diseases we vaccinate against. Several countries that do not vaccinate against these diseases are ahead of the US. Switzerland was one I remember off hand, the video mentions others. Further, the Omish do not vaccinate their children, and live right here in the US. They do NOT have a higher infection rate of diseases that the US vaccinates against than the average US city against diseases being vaccinate against, nor do they have a single case os autism in their community. Further, had you watched the video you would know, that getting vaccinated while possibly preventing a disease (the one being vaccinated against) also puts you at risk of an under-developed immunity system, because the body does not fully develop an immunity, the reason you give your kids "boosters," and do more damage. Nothing else is done. How are we supposed to proove a link between the vaccines and these diseases, when the FDA refuses to do a study? Is monkey blood safe for human injection? Is there any possible side effects of injecting animal DNA and RNA into a developing infant? Is there any possible side effects of injecting mercury, formaldahyde, other heavy metals, other carcinogens, other toxins, into a infant child within hours of birth? Now, please link me to the studies that the FDA have done that show injecting carcinogens, toxins, and animal DNA and RNA into children at birth is a safe practise. In Canada, with measles for example, shows that the measles was on the decline far before the introduction of the vaccine. In fact, if you look at the curve, you would be unable to tell that a vaccine had been introduced at all. Same with mumps, Hib, polio, rubella, and tentnus. And again, European country's that do NOT vaccinate as well as groups of people here in the US that do NOT vaccinate, show absolutely no increase in infection rates of these vaccinated diseases, nor do they have to deal with sicknesses like autism. In fact, the lowest infection rates are from countries that do NOT vaccinate. Please, watch the video. Is it possible that the reason people don't get these diseases anymore and the reason they don't die from them when they do get them, is because medicine has come a long way since 1930, as have our cleaning habits, or hygiene habits, and our development of services like water on tap. There were high-level officials from the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration, the top vaccine specialist from the World Health Organization in Geneva, and representatives of every major vaccine manufacturer, including GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Wyeth and Aventis Pasteur. All of the scientific data under discussion, CDC officials repeatedly reminded the participants, was strictly "embargoed." The research results have to be handled." In fact, the government has proved to be far more adept at handling the damage than at protecting children's health. The CDC paid the Institute of Medicine to conduct a new study to whitewash the risks of thimerosal, ordering researchers to "rule out" the chemical's link to autism. It withheld Verstraeten's findings, even though they had been slated for immediate publication, and told other scientists that his original data had been "lost" and could not be replicated. And to thwart the Freedom of Information Act, it handed its giant database of vaccine records over to a private company, declaring it off-limits to researchers. By the time Verstraeten finally published his study in 2003, he had gone to work for GlaxoSmithKline and reworked his data to bury the link between thimerosal and autism. Vaccine manufacturers had already begun to phase thimerosal out of injections given to American infants -- but they continued to sell off their mercury-based supplies of vaccines until last year. The CDC and FDA gave them a hand, buying up the tainted vaccines for export to developing countries and allowing drug companies to continue using the preservative in some American vaccines -- including several pediatric flu shots as well as tetanus boosters routinely given to 11-year-olds. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, who has received $873,000 in contributions from the pharmaceutical industry, has been working to immunize vaccine makers from liability in 4,200 lawsuits that have been filed by the parents of injured children. On five separate occasions, Frist has tried to seal all of the government's vaccine-related documents -- including the Simpsonwood transcripts -- and shield Eli Lilly, the developer of thimerosal, from subpoenas. In 2002, the day after Frist quietly slipped a rider known as the "Eli Lilly Protection Act" into a homeland security bill, the company contributed $10,000 to his campaign and bought 5,000 copies of his book on bioterrorism. I'll admit I watched 20 minutes out of an hour and a half, but what the video said is that diseases decline on their own, without vaccines, because of herd immunity where we as a population build our own defenses against them over the years. Another thing that keeps these diseases, viruses and illnesses at bay is our cleanliness habits, which have increased dramatically over the last hundred years. I don't see how anyone at the CDC can actually prove that vaccines are keeping us healthy from certain diseases which were already in decline.
When you take your child to the doctor they give you a sheet, of a bright color, which says "What you should know about the _________ vaccine.." and tells you what it's for and also what the bad reactions to it you should report are. It does not anywhere on the sheet tell you what is actually in the shot. Even if there is a 0.01% chance that your child could have a seizure or die, you should be allowed by law to not vaccinate your child. As it stands, I think the only way to get out of giving your child immunizations is to claim that it goes against your religious views. I'm not saying that all immunizations are bad, but clearly this socialist vaccine program has its flaws if even one child dies or is injured from them. As was pointed out earlier, diseases in large populations do tend to wane on their own over time as a population gains natural immunity to them... There are a couple of alarming things being pointed out in this thread, one by Pond Scum whose posts are now gone, again. That is the meeting and coverup of the link about Thymerosol to Autism in children, the other is a bill that President Bush vetoed requiring all vaccines to be Thymerosol free. I would like to know more about those two things, like, how to validate that they are true. I don't think the internet is going to assure me. Lead, Mercury and Formaldehyde seem like things that should be banned from anything injected into a person's body. Convened by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the meeting was held at this Methodist retreat center, nestled in wooded farmland next to the Chattahoochee River, to ensure complete secrecy. The agency had issued no public announcement of the session -- only private invitations to 52 attendees. There were high-level officials from the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration, the top vaccine specialist from the World Health Organization in Geneva, and representatives of every major vaccine manufacturer, including GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Wyeth and Aventis Pasteur. All of the scientific data under discussion, CDC officials repeatedly reminded the participants, was strictly "embargoed." There would be no making photocopies of documents, no taking papers with them when they left. The CDC paid the Institute of Medicine to conduct a new study to whitewash the risks of thimerosal, ordering researchers to "rule out" the chemical's link to autism. It withheld Verstraeten's findings, even though they had been slated for immediate publication, and told other scientists that his original data had been "lost" and could not be replicated. And to thwart the Freedom of Information Act, it handed its giant database of vaccine records over to a private company, declaring it off-limits to researchers. By the time Verstraeten finally published his study in 2003, he had gone to work for GlaxoSmithKline and reworked his data to bury the link between thimerosal and autism. Vaccine manufacturers had already begun to phase thimerosal out of injections given to American infants -- but they continued to sell off their mercury-based supplies of vaccines until last year. The CDC and FDA gave them a hand, buying up the tainted vaccines for export to developing countries and allowing drug companies to continue using the preservative in some American vaccines -- including several pediatric flu shots as well as tetanus boosters routinely given to 11-year-olds. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, who has received $873,000 in contributions from the pharmaceutical industry, has been working to immunize vaccine makers from liability in 4,200 lawsuits that have been filed by the parents of injured children. On five separate occasions, Frist has tried to seal all of the government's vaccine-related documents -- including the Simpsonwood transcripts -- and shield Eli Lilly, the developer of thimerosal, from subpoenas. In 2002, the day after Frist quietly slipped a rider known as the "Eli Lilly Protection Act" into a homeland security bill, the company contributed $10,000 to his campaign and bought 5,000 copies of his book on bioterrorism.
