Title: By DEFINITION, Rumsfeld is a TERRORIST!!! Post by: FreeinTX on November 04, 2007, 11:42:43 AM Rumsfeld 'kept up fear of terror attacks'
http://tinyurl.com/2gw3qq London Telegraph Quote from: Telegraph Donald Rumsfeld, the former United States defence secretary, tried to maintain an atmosphere of fear in America as part of the Iraq war propaganda campaign, a series of leaked memos has shown. The memos, written between 2002 until shortly after his resignation in 2006, were leaked by undisclosed sources to the Washington Post. Rumsfeld was unpopular with many for his tough management style. The newspaper reported that his emails were so numerous they were called "snowflakes". He would send between 20 and 60 a day, often instructing his team to refute negative news stories in the media. Keith Urbahn, an aide to Mr Rumsfeld, told the Washington Post that the published memos were "selective" and "gross mischaracterisations" carefully picked from some 20,000 while he was defence secretary. And what did DONALD RUMSFELD, himself, state in these memos? Quote from: DONALD RUMSFELD Keep elevating the threat, Talk about Somalia, the Philippines etc. Make the American people realise they are surrounded in the world by violent extremists. Link Iraq to Iran. Iran is the concern of the American people, and if we fail in Iraq, it will advantage Iran. produce, "bumper sticker statements" to rally the public around the war. We are getting run out of Central Asia by the Russians. They are doing a considerably better job at bullying those countries than the US is doing to counter their bullying. “Too often Muslims are against physical labour” because oil wealth had detached them from “the reality of work”. Now, is ANY of this fear justified? Iran-Iraq border trade heavy but no weapons found http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071101/ts_nm/britain_iraq_iran_dc Popular definitions of TERRORISM, http://tinyurl.com/yrmglz - A psychological strategy of war for gaining political ends by deliberately creating a well-founded climate of fear among the civilian population. - The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence against people or property to coerce or intimidate governments or societies . - The systematic use of terror, the deliberate creation and exploitation of fear for bringing about political change . - The use of - or threatened use of - criminal violence against civilians or civilian infrastructure to achieve political ends through fear and intimidation , rather than direct confrontation. - The calculated use of violence (or threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear. Any wonder why the man is wanted in Germany, and was run out of France? Donald Rumsfeld charged with torture during trip to France http://wor.ldne.ws/node/8288 So, like I have said plenty of times before, I, in no way, believe we should hand over Americans to foreign governments, however, with this belief comes the responsibility of, "cleaning our own house." This man is a TERRORIST. He has used violence and fear, repeatedly to scare the living sh-t out of people in our country and over the entire world. He then has used that fear to control people, to control policy, to do things that are simple disgusting. Ladies and gentleman, he ordered a German citizen abuducted and had the man flown to a eastern bloc country, and tortured the hell out of the man, and when they realized the had the wrong guy, the dropped him off in a field in another eastern bloc country. Supreme Court Refuses to Hear Torture Appeal http://tinyurl.com/yuf27a The man, himself, described the 10's of thousands of videos, pictures, and audio tapes of abuse at the hands of CIA, DoD, Iraqi, and private organization operatives, taken at Abu Graib, as depicting Quote from: DONALD RUMSFELD acts that can only be described as blatantly sadistic, cruel, and inhuman. NBC News reported that they show Quote from: NBC News American soldiers beating one prisoner almost to death, apparently raping a female prisoner, acting inappropriately with a dead body, and taping Iraqi guards raping young boys." Everyone who saw the photographs and videos seemed to shudder openly when contemplating what the reaction would be when they eventually were made public. And let's NOT forget the fact that he was supporting the very same terrorist organization, Jundullah, that had once been led by Khalied Sheik Mohammed, the CIA's claimed, "mastermind of 9/11." He used them to carry out TERRORIST ATTACKS in Iran to destabilize the Iranian government. That being said.... We have an OBLIGATION to the world, to prosecute this man for CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY and for possibly 100's of thousands of charges stemming from WAR CRIMES!!! If we cannot uphold our OBLIGATIONS to the world, we shouldn't be surprised when the world starts insisting they have the right to involve themselves in our affairs. FreeinTX
