Why are all the posts suddenly being flagged as spam?

What do you guys mean 'flagged as spam'?  Makes no sense to me...

In red it'll say after the post: "Warning: Your post has been classified as spam, and will not be visible to the public until an administrator or moderator approves it."

It's the issue Fred and I commented at the moderators lounge, Biker. With the additional irony that we're moderators and can't approve our own posts being flagged as spam... :laugh:

But I went and looked at the jugernaut thread, and I don't see anything unusual. 

I've also gotten the flagged as spam message. I just made the post again.

The post wasn't even long (the usual predictor of lost posts), and it didn't have links (something I would think a spam filter would look for, just my guess though).

members have the ability to flag posts...it goes into a holding queue, until an admin can look at it.

Starting to make sense.

These posts are flagged at the time of posting.

well perhaps you are doing something i don't like ? like using the "f-word"? There are automatic filtering that happens on initial post.

Nope. It was just a simple post, no cursing or anything.

I haven't found anything these posts have in common other than the fact that longer posts seem to get it more often.

 I got one today, Nov 21. Spam flag came up at the instant I hit post.  No profanity, but it did have two links. I hit reply again and there it was. So I copied and pasted in reply again, and it posted without issue.

Mine just got flagged, and I just spent an hour typing that sh-t out.  You gonna flag it as spam?  Why?  Cause it has a lot of links?  Also called backing up you point?

And I just looked, my reply in the "did we go to the moon" topic is STILL not posted.

I wasn't even trying to say we didn't, just ask questions about solar radiation and cataracts?  Is that spam?  again, too many links?  Sources?  References?
