So with all the "they're not good bands" flying around, tell me who is a good band. Mind you I need some good rock music for my iTunes and I'm tired of having to hear my siblings play crappy music from bands like Boys Like Girls or shit like that.

What kind of rock? Slower rock, metal, hard rock, etc.?

BTW, listen to GNR yourself and figure out if they're not good. I suggest "Mr. Brownstone", "Get in the Ring", and "November Rain".
