OK, this sucks. I love reading. Nothing is better than sitting down with a book, a glass of wine, and some music in the background. But lately, I can't read ten pages without falling asleep. Anyone else ever had this problem? It's really making me mad.

I've tried that. See, usually I have no lights on, with a book light. I love to read, watch movies, listen/write music in the dark. So I tried reading in the light, no wine, no music. Nothing helps. Even when I'm really into a book, I fall asleep.

Can't help much.  Wish I had the same problem.  Most of the time I can't go to sleep when I need to...

You might not be getting enough sleep to start out, so your body tends to take any chance it gets to catch up.  How many hours of sleep do you get a night?

0-4. But I've always been that way. Maybe it's catching up.

In college I could do the 0-4 hours, but now, if I don't have at least 6 I am struggling.  So it does catch up and harshly.

Perhaps you should get your eyes checked.  As you age the lenses of your eyes may grow weak, and cause you to strain your eyes as you read.  THUS, causing fatigue!
