Should I wait laser TV before buying a new tv?

Giant LCD screens are cool but laser TV looks even more pro;ising and even thinner (How thin? like a sheet of paper?).

It will be a while before they are any where near affordable.  Red lasers are cheap to make, blue not so, and the green are expensive.  Until that comes down, they will be ultra high end stuff only.  I worked at a company that was working on it.  Tons of R & D dollars going into this.  They also made piles and piles of cash of off color wheels for traditional projection TV's.  Even very high dollar ones.
