YES! 

With gender bias aside for a moment; take into consideration that during puberty it's a hard time for anyone.  Your body is changing, hormones and insecurities run rapid.  Clique politics that dominate the high school corridors, and the sense belonging is the only thing that seems to be concrete.  Unfortunately it's hard on young girls because a lot of them are taught that they have to be a certain way for people to like them.  And among females in society there isn't a sense of camaraderie like between males, it's a constant battle from the home, workforce, and through society.

While I agree the person has problems and issues if all they can do all day is torment a girl online I don't believe this can be criminally charged. It's almost like making up a law on the fly. Plus what is the charge? She drove the girl to commit suicide? Over a spand of a life time I've seen many kids drove to the brink of extreme depression but at the end of the day they had a choice to make. Either let one person get to them and kill themselves or stand up and keep on living. If this case can be criminally charged then why can't any suicide? Why couldn't a teacher who disliked a student and gave him or her a F be charged for a suicide of a child? Why couldn't bullies be charged for suicide? Why couldn't ex-girlfriend's be charged for suicides? See what I'm getting at, it just opens things up for more stupid laws. The fact is as stupid and cruel as this adult was she doesn't warrant jail time because she didn't tie the noose and didn't make the decision.
