Oh yeah - Amsterdam. Of course, it's to do drugs. But I can do drugs here. I want to know how it feels to do drugs legally - I assume it feels the same, but with more smiling.

Its not as fun as its cracked out to be....it fact it was kind of creepy IMO.

And the chronic isn't any better than what you can score here assuming you have a decent hook

I figured the drugs wouldn't be any better. What was creepy about it?

THe amount of drug dealers selling illicit shit...they were VERY confrontational about.  They would walk up behind you and whisper in my ear "coca...ecstasy"  and I would jump back all high and paranoid clutching my wallet and say "WTF!"  People would check to see how fucked up you are too...if you are too wasted, stoned, or geeked out..they'd make a move on our wallet.

I'm used to being left alone or getting a gun in the face, which has only happened once.

I just want to sit in a park and get high. Maybe fuck with some squirrels (do they have squirrels there?). Those are the type of things that make me happy.

I have only had a couple of friends travel over there but from what they have told me its not about potency, it's about variety.  But I am sure visiting no matter what will be a unique experience.  I am looking forward to going sometime in the future  Grin

You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth.

hello VIV.

I will be in Egypt in a few weeks...I know I'll be at Giza and Alexandria soon.  Have you been to the valley of the kings?[/quote

Hey Neo, how are you...

Sadly not yet, definitely high on my list now.  I tried to go over this summer from Cyprus, but time was a problem.  Am working on getting there this year... from a lot of locations in the Med you can just fit in a day trip to Luxor, but I'd like to spend longer there.
People have been worried about security there so it dropped in popularity, but my mother cruised the Nile and took the trip over there and she really raved about it.  Also most of the people I met in Mexico at Teotihuacan compared the Egyptian pyramids as much more impressive.
I think if you have any interest in history or culture it's gonna be great.  You are very lucky.  Will there be pics...you never did post one.
