Federal would be the ultimate goal in terms of working for the government. But once I get enough experience I'd like to get in line with some private security companies.

There is a good one based in the UK. I want to apply to them at some point.

I'm curious what everyone does for a living here...(or what you are studying in school).

PhD in Biotechnology, on a 2-year contract at the university (pedagogical and research activity).

I have a degree in Marketing and PR and another one in Insurance and I kind of blended the two together and made a good career out of the mix  Smiley

And I like candle lit dinners and long walks on the beach too. What are you doing Saturday night neo........sometime in the year 2032 (that's how long it will take to get me a visa to the States)  Grin

All you need is some type of sponsorship...HB1 visa or diplomatic overrides....marriage...the list goes.

Hey Neo, aren't you married?,,,,DOH!

Now me,,,,I'm single and available,

I did the navy aviation electronics thing and realised I HATE working on electronic. I crossed to part time MP and really enjoyed that much more. So when I went to school I started into Criminal Justice but decided that would end me as a Cop and that just doesn't match my personality.

Well while I was in school I got a job as a sercuity officer over night which was great becuase I could study and get paid at the same time. SO I lkooked into and decided on a degree in Industrial Safety and Security. Graduated middle of my class from University of Washington. Got a job with a small farm equipment manufacturing musiness which was bought by 2 other entities while I worked there. It transfered to the last purchasers company when they closed the plant. This unfortunaly meant moving from Washington State to Kansas City. I now work for Bayr Cropsceince. Running the security division for a MAJOR chemical plant. As well as many duties in our Emergency responce Brigade and Safety department.

I dropped out of college after two semesters worth of classes in the Communications, English and Science departments because I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted to do, and didn't feel like wasting any more money. But now that I know, I'm studying Photoshop CS3 and after that maybe web development. My goal is to work in marketing, advertising, printing/layout, etc... I'll have a better idea when I go job hunting, but I'm not there yet. Anything dealing with graphic design would make me happy.

Graduated middle of my class from University of Washington.

Yikes! A Husky!  Shocked

My undergrad degree was Business Admin from WSU, then I was in the Navy, then an MA in Political Science from UW (so I'm a Husky too, technically, but in reality I'm a Coug (meaning Washington State University) right down to my Crimson and Grey underwear--which I'll be wearing Saturday. Not that it's especially lucky...)
I work for the Federal Government. 7 and 1/2 years to retirement! Can't wait! Then I'll be able to post my insipid comments here 24/7  Grin

I will admit that being able to see Huskie football is one of the things I miss the most.

You know whats Ironic though JPN. You lean VERY FAR left and went to WSU and I lean right and went to UofW.....One would expect it to be opposite.

Actually the school that was in Millington is now in Pensacola, but ya that is the same school I  went to.

You only perceive such because I argue points with you. I am actually nearly center on every survey I take.

Plus some of the times I am arguing is not because I disagree necessarily but because I will call anything I think is suspect, right, left, center or over the top.
