Hailing of that ‘Ichkeria prime minister Mr Ahmed Zakaev on an official visit to Poland’ is just beyond my understanding! I saw it in Internet on the site of the Chechen terrorists and I can’t get it.  The man is evil! Beslan kids’ blood is on his hands. How can we be so forgetful?! Still that pesky terrorist  was embraced by some Kachinsky supporters in Poland, which actually amounts to unflattering ad for the Twins imo. Further, Zakaev was honored to participate in the international conference of independence democratic opposition hosted in Warsaw… well… making same ad for it too (thanks God my country reps didn’t participate in it). He was made just celebrity by local mass media. And so on and so forth….
All those weird things taking place in Poland is a slap in the face of Russia where Zakaev is in the list of notorious terrorists. Still he enjoys safe and wealthy life in the UK. That’s it! I am sure absolutely that Zakaev’s escapade in Poland was orchestrated from London. London in his longstanding stand-off vs. Moscow is sorting it out this way with Russia. No brainer at all! And this is actually only London who benefits from it now. It can’t be EU or Poland in particular. Poland‘s new primer Donald Tusk is set to rebuild his country’s relationship with the EU and Russia seeing’em as crucial partners. I guess this sounds somewhat discouraging to big potatoes in D.C. and London. And presently they’re just trying to bring things back to the past and to ruin Tusk’s course. Unrecognized state of Ichkeria (which Zakaev represents) belongs to that past as well. I hope EU leaders are looking into future free from terrorists and Anglo-Saxon dominance.

no, he is not evil. Russian Empire is evil. Ichkeria will be independent. I salut the warriors of the Chechen nation fighting for independence. The state of Ichkeria doesnt belong to the past; it belongs to the future.

Klaus
It's a shame that Zakayev can go freely through the EU. It's all politics to play with Russian nerves.
Why should EU countries take the dirty laundry from Russia is beyond me.

Fred, you should admit that Poland is just a pawn, whether it is under Russian, German or American influence. Some nations are doomed to this role.
And Petty Britain is just a prop to her daughter's whims.

yes but they take the role of pawn with pleasure as a vengeance for the soviet domination.
But that's coming to getting old.
