The fear of being judged in the afterlife doesn't seem to bother some people, eh? Lourdes water is one of the biggest crock of crap I have seen. How much do you think a liter of water from Lourdes should cost? (And remember, this is for the glory of God) $5? $10? $50? How about $148.39 + S&H?Kaching! http://www.lourdes-water.org/buy/index.php?currency=USDThis is a clear case of people preying on religious people who have been broken down by religion (a religion that tells them they are sinful wretches) and preys on human ailments that could best be treated by modern medicine. Are these people shameless scam artists, or are they good business men who see a niche? I think I may need to start up a little side business! The people to blame are not the people taking advantage of a business opportunity, but the religious zealots claiming Lourdes Water can cure disease and ailments. I blame the religious people who help propel this ridiculous superstition. They don't realize that the amount of curing that has happened is far, far below that of modern medicine. Sure, but it seems that any sect that calls for good morals in this life and the threat of eternal damnation afterwards would be better than the other ones. At least, this is what many religious people claim that their religion makes the world better.
Either way, I don't see any issue bring scams to people's attention.

No, Stalin never claimed to be a god, nor has anyone else in regard to communism. So not it isn't even a close characterization.
However, it is a fraud foisted by atheists and should be given the same condemnation, or is barney too zealous to say as much? It will be an interesting response.
