CBS Sports is reporting that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is talking about a possible Super Bowl in London. Tailgating with fish and chips?

Imagine the Superbowl commercials that could air....

Bentleys and Rolls! Wink

OswaldTheOsprey

I prefer bud light commercials.

In England would it be Bud Light, LTD? Wink

OswaldTheOsprey

Never really cared for British Television when I went over.  However, the BBC and CNN World News were nice.  No Bud Light commercials though.  Lots of Stella Artois Commercials.

I have watched.  But I barely laughed.  Comedy works in one direction for me: what's fresh and new.  Most comedians inspired by these old masters use many of their techniques anyways so when watching the originals its like I am watching something unoriginal and boring.  Know what I mean?

Sorry to knock them, I applaud their brilliance, its just my young tastes have trumped it.   Embarrassed

However I have watched the Mel Brooks when I was young (space balls and history of the world part 1 are my favorites) so I still have some appreciation for the old.   Smiley

Or maybe I just don't like British comedy... *me shrugs*

You are not "knocking" them, you simply prefer other types of comedy. Nothing wrong with that. I'm so old fashioned that I like tha Marx Brothers! Wink

Sorry...

Yeah, I gave up on the Jets.  We need a new QB and Pennington and Mangina are in bed together so we are basically screwed.  What a waste of talent.

Week 7

Baltimore @ Buffalo
Arizona @ Washington
Chicago @ Philadelphia
Pittsburgh @ Denver
Atlanta @ New Orleans
San Francisco @ New York Giants
New England @ Miami
Tennessee @ Houston
Tampa Bay @ Detroit
Kansas City @ Oakland
New York Jets @ Cincinnati
St. Louis @ Seattle
Minnesota @ Dallas
Indianapolis @ Jacksonville (Monday Night)

I'll say this right now, St. Louis is probably already dead in the water. Got any other bets on who wins?
