Not if the pleasure is constantly increasing. You do not live in a vacuum.....if everyone lives in an "increasingly" pleasurable state....what happens when you meet someone who has MORE pleasure than you? Knowing what pleasures we have now...and knowing the greatest pleasures....once acheived....then what? |

Well, besides that physical reason, without pain we would not be motivated to do anything. We would all be like babies in the womb, so comfortable and lazy. And let's say that with every action we take we gain more pleasure, I still think people would be perfectly content with their already pleasurable state and see no reason for more pleasure. |

If he created them, as omniscience would imply, then we could asume that God could create a world free of evil.
If God cannot form the laws of any particular thing then he is not omniscient.
