He was busted in an Internet sting in which an undercover agent posed as a mother offering to let men have sex with her 5-year-old daughter. The US prosecutor indicated he wanted to have both vaginal and anal sex with the girl - a 5 year old!!! I have a 5-year-old daughter, and I can tell you without hesitation that I would brutally murder any person who raped (or tried to rape) her. I'm not saying I would hurt them really bad or that I would "go ballistic". Quite the opposite, if possible I would cooly and camly kill them as slowly and painfully as possible. I would happily spend the rest of my life in prison for the satisfaction it would bring me to know I put that individual through the most horrific pain and punishment one human being could possibly be forced to suffer. I have no problem with Capital Punishment for even "attempted" sex with a child (age 10 or younger). Think about it, if these guys on the Internet faced the possibly of going to death row for trying to solicit sex with a child that would essientially eliminate Internet sexual predators. Even the biggest sicko in the world isn't going to face death to have sex with a child - and if some do that means obviously they will do anything to have sex with a child and therefore forfeit their right to live. It sounds extreme, but who cares? These bastards deserve to die - all of them.

With a nice big R branded on thier forheads so that every one in the hole knows why they are there. And none of this protective custody crap,,,im talking Sing Sing general population. Actually as long as we made it slow and painful death wpould be best,,,,and public. Atchison brought a Dora the Explorer doll, hoop earrings and petroleum jelly with him from Florida, the Detroit Free Press reported. This guy deserves to die hard and slow. |

Ugh, I didn't see that. This is why I don't trust the justice sytem. That dude was a prosecutor. Anyways, I nice little lethal injection doesn't do him justice. It's ridiculous and it goes to ridiculous lengths! In prisons, before they give you a lethal injection, they swab your arm with alcohol! It's true! It's true. It's true! Well, they don't want you to get an infection! And you can see their point: wouldn't want some guy to go to Hell *and* be sick! It would take a lot of the sportsmanship out of the whole execution. |

I am against capital punishment. With that said, I am not for the death penalty for the child rapist, but I am for extreme leniency on any parent who takes matters into their own hands. I also agree with a branding of sorts to ensure all know what he is guilty of.

I am also opposed to the death penalty, not for moral reasons, I agree with OP, this individual does not measure up to my definition of a human being, and I would have no moral compunction about putting him down. However, our courts and governmental systems set up to determine who is a human and who should be put down are woefully under-competent for the task.
I have to agree with perin though, I think if I were on a jury, and ryan77 was brought in for putting down an animal that tried something with his daughter, I can pretty much guarantee we would wind up with at least a hung jury, if not down right jury nulification, I see it going something like this...

Juror gomper: Yeah, but I think he dreamed that, it wasn't him, my NG vote stands, I think the perp was despondent over what he did and committed suicide
jury forman: Suicide!?! He was shot in both kneecaps, burned over 90% of his body, stabed 93 times, and found cut up in 7 different trash bags!!
juror gomper: *shrugs* so he was very limber....

It's always nice to see a Manson quote every once in a while. He's right. You can go to Wal-Mart and see dolls with g-strings on, which makes young girls want to look like that. Not to mention the MSM reporting on Britney Spears like it's actual news.
