My sister finds herself in a situation where she does not have a job, no boyfriend, but about 30K saved. She wants to hitchhike or travel across the world. Any ideas on how she can do this? where she should go? Are threr listings of hostels and places she can stay?

Stay out of the Euro zone if she wants here 60K to last...LOL

But no seriously, what languages does she speak, b/c it makes a difference.  What is she interested in?  How keen is she on social safety?

She loves to hike and snowboard, she is very adventurous but she only speaks English. She wants to ski/hike the Alps walk the Great Wall etc.
Honestly I am kind of jealous of her she has savings and no commitment I won't be able to do anything like this till I am old.

Going to China with out a native speaker can be difficult or expensive....going to Europe is prolly a better idea IMO.
