BLAH BLAH BLAH

Yes, of course. Why point out anti-American liberals within our education and legal institutions.

If Ward Churchill had not uttered his "little Eichmann's" statement he would still be "teaching" in Colorado.

Had Lynne Stewart not been caught passing messages for terrorists she would still have a licence to practice law.

...we are talking about David Gilmour here, get with the thread topic.

The original topic is anti-American liberals infested within our education and legal institutions.

Get with the thread topic Perrin. It has nothing to do with Pink Floyd.

No, but I've seen it with Dark Side of the Moon.

Link

Uncanny for sure, but not planned IMHO.

We watched it in my creative writing class in high school. The teacher wheeled a tv/vcr cart in and queued up his boombox. The faculty at my high school all seemed to be huge Pink Floyd fans. The year before, we had a laser Pink Floyd show in the school planetarium.

It's cool to watch, it syncs up pretty good. If I remember right, for those who want to try at home, you've got to start Dark Side at the lions roar in the MGM intro.

"Yes, absolutely in the right!"
"I certainly was in the right!"

Ahem.   March 6, 1978 at 11:55 a.m. was 30 years ago today.

1978 - Nine Palestinian Al Fatah guerrillas hijack a bus in Israel, killing 34 civilians and wounding 70 before being killed by security forces. The Israelis retaliate by invading southern Lebanon three days later in Operation Litani.

In the intrest of civil discussion I reread the the first post in this thread. Nothing about Pink Floyd or David Gilmour.

Exactly which topic are you back on? It certainly isn't the topic that started this thread.

Well, this thread is pointless enough, so let us make it about David Gilmour...... sound familiar Perrin?

It was you who attempted to change the subject of this thread. Why?

This thread, was not, as I thought, about David Gilmour's birthday.

Happy birthday David.

The way he plays this can make me weep, laugh or rage.
Maybe you didn't do such a good job of reading the thread Ron.  It was Toaster that actually led the thread astray.  Others merely played along.  But it's not against the rules.  Maybe it should be?   Grin

I did read the thread BD and responded to the original topic.

When I did Perrin responded to me with this:

BLAH BLAH BLAH, we are talking about David Gilmour here, get with the thread topic

When I reminded him the topic has nothing to do with David Gilmour he responded with this:

"Again, Blah Blah Blah Back on topic, did anyone every watch Wizard of Oz while playing The Wall?"

Perhaps it's time to read the thread yourself BD. It has nothing to do with Pink Floyd. I don't care if Toaster, Perrin or yourself strays from the original topic. I really don't. But claiming that a poster who responds to the original topic is somehow "off topic" is nothing but a pathetically transparent dodge.

You would seem to be severely lacking in a sense of humor.  Dude, it's just the internet, try not to take it so seriously.

By all means, post on the original topic.  It's still a semi-free country.

I have an excellent sense of humor. Thanks for asking.

It's the posters who refuse defend the outrageous lies they believe and repeat that dulls my sense of humor.

You came to the defense of one of them. Why?

I wasn't asking.  I was observing.  Your posts make it self evident that you have no sense of humor.  And I didn't come to the defense of anyone.  For a poster that claims to be able to both read AND understand, you have not demonstrated it.  Your idea of 'coming to the defense of' was in actuality pointing out that that Toaster was the first to post off topic.  You took offense.  Big fucking deal.  Now I have commited the cardinal sin of point out to you that is just the internet.  Again big deal.  I really don't care about this enough to get in a pissing contest with the likes of you.  So have it by yourself.

Lol.  I knew you couldn't resist getting the last word.  Oops!  Now I have the last word!  Whatever will we do?

What a humorless dour individual you seem to be.  The whole thread turned into people having fun at pathetics expense till you came running to his defense.  In the end it just doesn't really matter dude.
