AIRS: 8 P.M. ET Saturday and SundayOn Deadly Ground: The Women of Iraq

It’s a place of constant danger, roadside bombs and sectarian violence. In this CNN Special Investigations Unit, Iraqi women risk everything to give Arwa Damon a look at life inside Iraq. Watch Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

Don't ask me why they say 8 and 9, maybe it's on both times. Anyhow, this looks like it's going to be one great documentary. I will say something about it after I've watched it, I just wanted to spread the news in case anyone is interested in seeing it and hasn't seen the ads for it.

When I was at the gym on Saturday I happened to catch part of this. It was empty, so I changed the TVs to CNN, cause nothing gets me enegized like world news (I'm such a dork).

And I have to say it was pretty informative. I hated the correspondent (it was the way she kept pausing while she spoke), but the program itself and the people they talked to were pretty inspirational.

It's comforting to see people fighting for basic rights (I only wish America could go through a social revolution while I'm alive)... though DIScomforting at the same time to see that they have to.

It'll be a struggle to get Sunni and Shiia in the same room...

... and it could very well be a decade before women can be treated fairly in Iraq. Hell, they're not even treated equally here in the states!

Either you repeat the same conventional doctrines everybody is saying, or else you say something true, and it will sound like its from Neptune.
