I said it a few times when you guys were talking about how Mccain will wind up in the background and get forgotten about. He will continue to make trips to Iraq and look presidential while Obama and Hillary fight over who is liberal enough and who will raise taxes more. I think the dems are really going to screw up this chance they have to get control over the white house and congress. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080316/D8VEIRP80.htmlBAGHDAD (AP) - Sen. John McCain, the likely Republican presidential nominee who has linked his political future to U.S. success in Iraq, was in Baghdad on Sunday for meetings with Iraqi and U.S. diplomatic and military officials, a U.S. government official said. Details of McCain's visit, which had been anticipated, were not being released for security reasons, the U.S. Embassy said. It was unclear who he met with; no media opportunities or news conferences were planned. McCain, a strong supporter of the U.S. military mission in Iraq, is believed to be staying in the country for about 24 hours. "Senator McCain is in Iraq and will be meeting with Iraqi and U.S. officials," said Mirembe Nantongo, spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. This is the senator's eighth visit to Iraq. He's accompanied by Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, an independent, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. Before leaving, McCain said the trip to the Middle East and Europe was a fact-finding venture, not a campaign photo opportunity. Interesting who he brought with him...[/font]

That was a good one. Who is this McCain fellow anyway? I haven't heard much about him.

McCain is trying to look Presidential, and collecting info to use during the Presidential debates. In the meantime, Obama and Clinton are tearing each other to pieces. This makes him look really good!!! BTW, has Clinton or Obama even visited Iraq at any time? ??

Hillary and Obama are too focused on getting elected. When had such a fight for the nomination been this brutal? Tells you where their interests lie...

From what I understand, dirty politics had made a presence here and there. But I guess I should excuse my self for disguising my opinion with such languid words. I think it is obvious who I would vote for here.

Their debate was quite civil. Have there been any new developments? No... it really wasn't. I keep trying to find clips that they show on "The Daily Show", but it seems few people thought it was neccessary to post pieces of the 2000 Republican debates on YouTube... ... I can't imagine why...

BTW.... From the article... McCain's weeklong trip also includes stops in Israel, Jordan, Britain and France. There will be a 1,000 a plate dinner in England which should raise a nice chunk too.
