Your first bit was true but the rest is same old zionist imperailist trash.  west has no basis telling us how to rule our government.  we like our government.  they are better than bush and blair.
Gushing with pride about about Mao and throwing out anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.  You really know how to win over your audience by establishing common ground with them, don't you?  Roll Eyes

Imperialism, incidentally is exactly what you are defending about your government's actions.  It's obvious given the different cultural traditions they share from the Han Chinese that Tibetans aren't any more culturally Chinese than Vietnamese people are.  Sure they're influenced by Chinese culture, but that's true of every nation in Eastern and Southeastern Asia and other nations besides those ones.  You fail to allow them to choice in their pattern of economic development(imperialism), impose your government's authority using military force on a resistant people(imperialism), and seek to impose your own cultural values by governmental fiat(imperialism).  Engaging in imperialism isn't the West's monopoly, though you'd conveniently like to pretend that.

Point in democracy that opposition stays alive after they claim to be opposition.

Now, i don't know how democratic you are but there was a painting show of your oppressed by Chinese government painters right after the show started, just few days after massive commercials, the show been shut down by your government that threaten mine. So yes you are truly democrats and spreading democracy. You so democrats that you sound exactly the same thing either you "love China" or "defend it against Zionists and Imperialists" and this is obviously not lack in creativity but lack of self opinion or ability to express it.

You are wrong.  Native american culture much more destroyed.  why not give america back to them first then we'll talk about tibet

Funy story. Can you show the painting?I promise it's ok to criticize the goverment or say "Fu*k Chinese goverment" in a busy street.Nothing will happen. You have the right to protest ,you have the right to vote(even the Chairman),you have the right to say no. We are not brainwashed people and we know what the sub-meaning about the political action  is.Why shouldn't we be friends?

I live in my own truth you live in yours. Good luck for you people.

But isn't that the point that people in China are trying to make?

Why does the right of China to exist and develop as China sees fit somehow get trumped by some foreign idea of how China should do this or do that?

Why is it alright for people who have no real knowledge about China to insult and lie about China?

It all comes down to the old chicken and egg: which came first? People who know nothing about China insulting China or Chinese people - of which, contrary to all attempts to imply otherwise, I am not although I have lived here for 20 years so I could actually learn for myself what is and what is not "truth" - trying to defend their nation against those insults and lies?

I totally agree with your statement - even if it wasn't made for that intention. Let the people of China live in their own truth and you live in yours.

What would happen to a Chinese citizen questioning his government's actions in Tibet?

You mean the ending of decades of absolute slavery for 95% of the population? Nothing to complain about there.

Perhaps you mean the allowing of first the 20th century to arrive in Tibet and now the 21st century? No, I can't see anything to complain about there either.

Maybe you were thinking along the lines of complaining because the China govt. allows education - in the ethnic Tibetan language - and even demands that the children of the few - yes, that's right, there are not that many Han people in Tibet - people from other parts of China to study in and learn to speak, write and read the ethnic Tibetan language? Only complaint I can see there is from the parents of children that have to learn the ethnic Tibetan language, but they wouldn't. After all, if one is going to live in a place the least they should do is learn the language.

I know, you think the people of China should complain because the graduates of high school in Tibet - the ethnic Tibetans - have the right to go and study at any university in China they qualify for? No, that couldn't be it.

Must be the expenditure of 100's of millions of RMB on restoring the temples in Tibet and the monasteries in Tibet? Surely that is something Chinese taxpayers at least should complain about? Hmmm, problem is, they don't. Nobody in China seems to mind any of the taxpayer money spent over the last 5 decades on improving the lives of the ethnic Tibetans.

Gee, I'm kinda stumped here. After all, surely you aren't expecting the people of China to complain about things that never happened, are you? Nah! That would just be silly.

As would expecting the people of China to complain about the lies stemming from western propaganda sources or the sources provided by terrorists.

Like cauboi wrote, it is best if you just let Chinese people live in their truth and you live in your...now what do I write here? I mean, I know that what you write is not the truth, but if that's truly where you would rather live than learn the truth then that, too, is your choice.

Does tibet have a right to self-determination?
http://www.webb-site.com/articles/tibetharris.htm#_ftn7
What do you think about this issue?

Now why would you quote a website of a foreigner known as an anti-China activist and a former "British Dictator govt. in Hong Kong" apologist, used to somehow obfuscate the truth if possible?

Even the so-called article conveniently ignores the timeline of Tibet from pre-700CE to the Yuan Dynasty and even then, jumps over it so they can rail against what they "think" happened from 1950 to the present.

If you truly want to learn about - oh, let's say the terrorist and traitor Tenzin Gyatso, just Google for: dalai lama and nazi. You'll be able to find well documented - and non-Chinese as I'm sure that is important to you - information on his dealings with the nazis, his using of convicted war criminals as so-called "advisers," and much other information for your edification.

I'd stay away though from the sites sponsored by the terrorist Tenzin Gyatso - although he does have a nice picture on his baby website of him and some convicted war criminals - Berger for example - and the sites supported by his cousin, sites put up to promote the lies he's been spreading for decades to try and hide his treason and terrorism and just focus on the sites from the States, Germany, and perhaps governments. I already provided some previously, but doing it yourself may show that the real truth is far and away from the self-serving western propaganda and the propaganda from the terrorist and traitor Tenzin Gyatso and his financiers and supporters.

You could also access the Truman Library online and look for the records of conversations held with Ambassador Henderson and you can learn about the involvement of the CIA and the millions they have fed to terrorist for decades.

The information is there. All one has to do is look for it. Although I know those who opened wide and swallowed for the propaganda that Tenzin Gyatso is one of the good guys - he isn't now and never was.
