about 2 months ago (Feb 18) there was a post by Reaganite about the success of the troops surge (Attacks in Baghdad fall 80 percent: Iraq military - hrmmm). I disagreed that it wasn't because of the surge but the fact that we were paying Sadrs troops and his call for a cease fire. Last week the "80% fall of attacks" were starting to rise again because of Basra. When it looked like things where about to get worst again Sadr called for peace
