Okay, a fairly easy "Who am I" question for contemporary music fans.

We are identical twins who were at school with no musical knowledge whatsoever. We had never sung, never played an instrument, and had never attended any music class. One night, we went to a concert out of curiousity, which forever changed our lives. We were so awe struck with the power that the band playing in concert had over the audience, that we decided it was something we wanted to make our lives. We had a rough school life, always picked on and bullied and saw music as an escape from being downtrodden.

We learnt as much as we could about music shortly thereafter, we recruited someone from our school, who had played an instrument before, and set about forming our own band.

We are now one of the most popular musical acts in the world with a recently released album(our others have also been majorly successful) achieving huge amount of sales, with singles as well in the charts.

Who are we?

Um no, they are a bit more contemporary than the Osmonds.

I should add, that the band is more than just the twins now. But it was the identical twins who started it, and their story was what I described.

I would think you might be a fan of them wigs. I am not 100% sure of this, but it wouldn't surprise me if you were. Wheras it would majorly surprise me if you were a fan of the Osmonds haha.

No, keep going  Grin

Actually I thought this would be guessed easily. They are fairly mainstream.

Think identical twins, and think that they both knew nothing about music and had never sang or played an instrument when they formed their band.  Smiley

Okay, as noone guessed it,I will give you the answer.

Joel and Benji Madden. AKA Good Charlotte:

The reason why I posted this thread and highlighted the life story of the twins was to prove to everyone on here that no matter how far back you are,no matter what lack of education or financial resources and no matter what hurdles confront you, you have the ability to achieve anything you want in life.

And you can have a hell of a good time achieving it too;  Grin
