What does the republicon scum machine have on Hillery that makes them so sure McCain can beat her?
They know they can't beat him so they are crapping in their pants at the prospect of an Obama nomination, so much so that are actually facilitating Hillery and helping her whenever and wherever they can. Anyone here have any thoughts on what kind of muck they plan to rake up on her if she gets the nod??

Really? Hillary polls better nationally by several points when head to head with Obama. He's not even the most popular in their race, he just has the benefit of a jacked up election system. If Hillary manages to seat Florida and Michigan and steal that thing from Obama, the Democratic party will fracture and Hillary will do well to get 30% in November.

Things are a mess over there.

Well, Bush's campaign on 2000 was "We Republicans don't get blowjobs in the White House" and "We have family values". I think if Hillary is the Dem nominee, the Republicans will attack the previous Clinton administration and also go on the offensive saying that Clinton was the cause of the lack of intelligence and provocation that caused 9/11. That's what I think they believe they have upper hand with Hillary anyway...

lol.. Obama will not beat McCain in one state Bush won in 2004 and in 2008 Obama may even lose PA, NJ, CA, NH.

Obama Vs McCain wont be close.....

If Obama is the nominee that means McCain will get 65% of the hispanic vote and 60% of white make vote.

Obama will take the normal 90-95% of african americans but hispanics out number african americans in CA, NJ, FL, TX, AZ, NM, NV, and I believe NY,

Its gonna be so sad...

I guess a better question is who out there DOESN'T think theres "muck on Hillary?"

If one is truely intrested in finding it, they don't have to look far.

If any of that were remotely close to being true Bonzonite, the repiglicon media machine would be falling over each other trying to get Obama  nominated.
But ,what do you know , just the opposite is true. They do all they can to help Clinton in her quest for the nomination all the while vilifying Obama. They know this tactic is their only chance at a win in 08. They may beat Clinton in a campaign of smear but they will never beat Barack ,especially with an uninspiring Bush rerun like McCain.
I have never seen repiglicon pundits so afraid of any one candidate. They know that if he wins the nomination their pathetic old man won't stand a chance and that once the people discover what a real leader who acts in their interest is like, the repiglicon party will fall by the wayside for many election cycles.

FT, I know you're fired up at reaganite but you are talking in generalities.

Is that REALLY necessary?

On another note, I just hope Obama and McCain keep their rhetoric on a higher plain. That won't happen, though. Someone is going to go on the attack eventually.

Do we really have to get into this? Again?

McCain doesn't win a bunch of states cause he's a Republican, and if he doesn't have the conservative support that Bush had in 2000 (and somehow in 2004) McCain won't make a dent in a Democratic stronghold like CA or NH. Also, just cause the Democrats are fighting each other doesn't mean they're not ready to fight McCain. You'll be glad when the Democrats REALLY start comparing McCain to Bush... cause McCain will get hurt... bad.

They haven't even TRIED running against McCain and public support is split even (amid a non-united Democratic party).

What does McCain have on Obama? Wright? Yeah... go ahead and try to win an election on that...

Roll Eyes

White conservatives won't vote... the "hispanics hate blacks" thing will only get you so far... over 65% of the country doesn't like Bush, which means people won't go around voting for his protoge any time soon... and there's still the Iraq war, which McCain is on the wrong side of public opinion on...

I'm not calling it a "sure thing" for Obama, I'm just saying McCain doesn't have the election as wrapped up as you think.

What if Obama actually campaigns to hispaniscs? What if Hillary (who has massive hispanic support) helps him?

This election is FAR from predictable.

No I am not talking in generalities.Quite specifically all the right wing political pundits from Rush to Crystal are pushing for Clinton to get the nom. That is something to take note of and ask why. They to a man will also beat up on Barack at every opportunity stretching to make even passing associations with questionable people the subject of hours of talk. Which tells me they are scared of Obama and hungry for a rehash of a Clinton confrontation.
As far as my reference to the repiglicon party... It is so much more descriptive when referring to the party of pigs and cons I can't help myself. When they stop using the noun "democrat " in place of the adjective "democratic" I may reconsider my use of the word repiglicon.
Barack need only reveal McCain to be the water boy for Bush that he is ...Bush will defeat McCain.

free, if your objective is to have mature debate with what you believe to be an immature opponent, don't stoop to their level.

Don't throw around remarks you KNOW will incite a reaction.

They are helping clinton because the more the dem fight is drawn out the more it hurts BOTH hillary and Obama.  Do you not read the polls run by Cnn and such that show Hillary beating mccain in national polls where obama is behind him?

Btw dipshit, I HATE McCain, as do alot of republicans... Do you think teh peopel taht voted for hillary in MI and Fla who had their votes thrown away by the democratic party will just say aww fark it lets vote for Obama? lol...

Again, McCain will win the red states and may take CA, PA, MI, NH, from Obama.  If McCain Picks a conservative or even a moderate conservative who is either female of a minority this could be a landslide ala 1980.

According to the polls I've seen, we might be looking at a nip and tuck race like 2000. I feel sure it won't be a blow-out either way barring something dramatic.
