Hi  all!

Do you think that the 19th-20th century European Colonization had, overall, beneficial effects on the colonized people? I am talking about the overall effects that could be felt to this day, in the regions of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

I think that the overall effects were negative. Europeans brought technology and such but, overall, destroyed the local customs, and cultures. I noticed that some people are from Europe, and was wondering what their perspective would be.

I'll take you up on this one but you're going to have to wait until later.
