Oliver Stone released JFK in 1991. Before that The Populace by 90% believed Oswald was the killer. After, 90% believed the opposite. I did for a while, then it all fell apart.

I really didnt like that film. Basically the design of that film was to titilate the audience with every possible imaginable conspiracy to kill Kennedy and then doesn't actually stick with the one they think is most likely.
IOW, and IMO, it was pure sensationalism exploiting both people's curiosity and a thousand documentaries that came before it.
Having said that I find it very difficult to believe that Oswald worked alone. The so-called magic bullet (last time I looked at the info at any rate) was next to impossible. It's not that a bullet can't ricochet in those weird angles it's just that with every sharp angle it is re-directed it loses a massive amount of energy. After 2-3, 60-90 degree deflections a bullet should have lost all it's penetration power, losing it to the objects it that deflected that energy. Especially in the case of flesh and bone, (as opposed to say a brick wall which would be returning most of the energy back to the projectile), The catch here is that if the bullet DID have such immense energy as to be able to be deflected in that manner and still have penetration capability then it wouldn't have deflected at all but rather gone straight through.
Maybe I didnt describe that well but basically every deflection, especially more than 45 degrees will cut the projectiles energy by 1/3 in the case of a brick wall or 1/5th in the case of human bone and flesh. Meaning you have two, maybe three at the most bounces off of bone before you could catch the bullet in your teeth without worry.
I do not suspect the "weird angles" it deflects to because the direction of a deflection is based on so many things from the shape of the surface it deflects from to shape of the bullet after it is deflected, so a bullet really can deflect in so many ways that will look odd compared to how a perfectly round or spherical object will deflect off a flat surface.

ABC or CBS did a documentary around the 40th anniversary....can't remember the name....it was very well done....it shows how the "magic bullet" really wasn't so "magic".
I'll see if I can find something on it.

Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood

My country has an experience with first grade political murder. Prime Minister, Itzhak Rabbin was murdered by Igal Amir, Israeli settler and nationalist extremist.
Many believe someone from inside helped Amir to get that close to Rabbin and this is what called conspiracy which can be true and not the same time. What i surely know that for the sake of the nation its better to keep the real killers hidden from public eye because usually political murders are way to ugly and can cause destroying resonance within society.
So let it be, no one of us will ever know for sure who killed Kennedy, Rabbin or Stalin.
