FYI the EU is the second largest purchaser of our American guns, weaponry, integrated defense, and missiles (next to the American gov't)...and it will probably increase its margin over the third largest purchaser with the increasing purchases from Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
Don't kid yourself Europe, your hands are soaked in blood just as much as the rest of the west...You politicians are just much more proficient at hiding their purchases.
Our hands do not get "soaked in blood" until the weapons are used. How many of those weapons has accidentally killed civilians ? I would guess none, since we are not involved in any conflicts except for peacekeeping missions ...
Now you can think of how many of guns bought by the US "accidentally" kill civilians, e.g. in Iraq. I would guess a bit more.
Don't project your the US guilt for Iraq on us.
I work in the defense manufacturing sector. Our products fill governments needs, including your own. I'm not projecting my guilt, b/c I have none pertaining to this. I'm not a policy maker.
I know what I do is not only for the greater good of my family but for our men and women in harms way.
EU purchases in the US manufacturing sector is an integral portion of the business model. We appreciate your commitment and business to protecting western interests.
