Has anyone seen this movie yet?

I am a huge fan of the Superhero movies and this is one of my favorite ones.  Batman Begins is a close second.

The casting for this movie was perfect.  Robert Downey Jr. was perfect as Tony Stark.  Favorite line, "Pour me a Scotch, I'm Starving", that and when he was late to his private jet his excuse was, "Sorry, I got caught doing a piece for Vanity Fair" (after he slept with a reporter from Vanity Fair)

I saw this with my son, and thought it was excellent.  While I have been down on Robert Downey Jr over the drugs, and specially over being in Ally McBeal, he was outstanding in this.  And I agree, Batman Begins is second to this for me.

My favorite line was when he was discussing the suit with his computer, and the computer showed him it all gold,

Tony Stark: [After seeing the gold 3-D render of his suit] A little ostentatious, don't you think?
Jarvis: [dripping with sarcasm] Whatever was I thinking? You're usually so discreet.
Tony Stark: Tell you what. Throw a little hot-rod red in there.
Jarvis: Oh yes. That should help you keep a low profile.

All in all, I enjoyed that movie immensely!

don't know if you are being sarcastic or not, but you will get that wish either way.

Iron Man 2 has already been announced, along with the Avengers.

Plus you have Incredible Hulk (with a good actor playing Bruce Banner) and Dark Knight coming out.  Along with Hancock, which looks humorous.

Iron Man was certainly among the best Marvel movies. As Stark/Iron Man's origin story it was very accurate to the comics, and offered many entertaining moments. I'm excited to see how the story will progress in the sequels. (On a side note, as good as this was it won't even touch the Dark Knight)

Also, did anyone stay for the scene after the credits?

It. Was. Awesome.

Tony Stark was perfect. Pepper Potts was perfect. Everybody was perfect.

And despite the ridiculously eye-catching special effects, it had a FANTASTIC story. Maybe I'm just used to bad super-hero movies, but I think it was easily the best (though the next Batman movie has me chomping at the bit.

And yes, gommi. I stayed.

And let me tell you, if they make the movie I think they're making, I'm gonna be EXSTATIC!

I posted it on another board, but the top 9 movies of 2007 were either sequels or remakes.

Orginial ideas, ftl.

I have seen the movie twice and the first theater I went to, they told us before the film started that there was a bit at the end after the credits, so I caught it both times.  It has pumped me up for the sequel.

Dark Knight has me creaming my drawers every time I see a commercial for it (I know that was an image everyone needed in their minds).
Alfred: Should I get the Batmobile
Bruce: In the middle of the day, not very subtle.
Alfred: Of Course, the Lamborghini then
Bruce: Please
Alfred: Yes, much more subtle
