I was just introduce to this comedy duo this weekend and since then I have been watching them on Youtube and will be renting their HBO special.  Flight of the Conchords are hysterical.  If you get an opportunity to get to Youtube, look up Flight of the Conchords and watch "Business Time", "Jenny", and "Part-time model" (AKA Prettiest girl in the room).

They are a folk comedy duo from New Zealand.  I have a television series as well, I believe.
