The "legit" clip contains racist comments. If you can't recognize them then you are the idiot. Like this comment:

Quote
I couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship.

And you don't need to provide backup or you CAN'T provide backup? My guess is that its the latter.

But feel free to prove me wrong. Betcha can't  Tongue

You consider that racist? WOW, your just abit overly sensitive I think.

This is the first post I read so I don't know who is being quoted in the above post, but whoever said "they couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference . . . " was making a rather racist remark.  They were implying that they expected it to be so different because it was run by blacks.  Now, the tone I read it in seemed to indicate a pleasant surprise, it could have been they they were expecting something with a different style and were disappointed that it was just like every restaurant.  In that case, I would ask, why talk about who the patrons are?

Now see I read it that they expected a different atmosphere becuase it was run by a blacks and PRIMARLY BLACK PATRONAGE. I have been in many places that I fgelt very out of place and unwelcomed becuase of the patronage and a few times the ownerage. I reularly stop a a place for mexican food that is run by mexicans and has mostly Mexican partons and when I first started going there i was VERY unwelcomed....but I am stuborn and I LOVE good mexican food. Now I am welcomed by name and they know my order.

I love this comment on the O'Reilly broo-haha from Josh Marshall:

Quote
O'Reilly: Black People Just Don't Understand
I'll give ABC some real credit for this headline of their new story on the firestorm in response to Bill O'Reilly's latest racist outburst: "O'Reilly: Blacks Suprisingly Civilized."

I usually don't go in much for working the O'Reilly front. But in this case the comedic value of this racist dork is just too much to pass up.

O'Reilly says that only people looking to be offended could have been offended by his comments.

"If you listened to the full hour, it was a criticism of racism on the part of white Americans who are ignorant of the fact that there is no difference between white and black anymore," O'Reilly told the AP. In other words, I guess, it was criticism of people like Bill O'Reilly, which is sort of broad-minded of him.

It's also good of him to note that blacks aren't any different from whites like he apparently thinks they were before the 1990s or something.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/054321.php

"Racist dork". Yeah, that about captures O'Reilly, who, characteristically of those who are blinded to their own staggering smallness, believes himself to be an expansive intellect of staggering tolerance and open-mindedness.
Nope. Just a dork. A racist dork.

my God!
you will just just on any band wagon no matter how stupid they are huh?

its funny the double standard of racism is completely over your head.
never heard the quote "its a black thing, you just wouldn't understand"
never heard that its ok for a black person to say n igga but a white person cant?

im sorry but as i said on the other thread im for equal rights not special rights.

just on the news the other day some kid broke into a house with a gun and hid under the bed of an akron home. the people came home during the robbery. when the father saw a pair of nikes attached to a person under the bed they quietly got out of the house and called 911. the kid was arrested. a news reporter went to interview the mother of this kids and she told him to get is kracker-ass of here fuckin porch.
any out rage by the white community over bringing race into this? NO there never is. they would be branded as racist for doing so that why white people are afraid to defend their race. they are their own worst enemy.

maybe if she would have said kracka instead of kracker nobody would have been offended.  Roll Eyes

as seen on this forum and many others you cant spell out the word nigger but you can spell out any and all white racist remarks you want.
D O U B L E    S T A N D A R D  HARDWIRED INTO OUR SOCITEY!

edit: oh i see they havent edited out the N-word here yet. but you get my point. it will be gone as it was on the old IAP website and kracker, honky, ect.. will remain.

the ABC article is a joke to.
just like oreilly said "you have to be looking to be offended to actually be offended"
so ABC goes out and finds some libs who have a disliking towards Oreilly and have a field day.
i would expect nothing less from the liberal media.

People forget that O'reilly was talking to Juan Williams (A BLACK guy for those who don't know) when he made the comment and Juan defended him.
Uncle Tom comments are sure to follow

Outfits like Media Matters, CNN, MSNBC, NBC and the intellectually vapid who soak this stuff up do nothing for race relations in this country. Thanks guys, keep up the good fight.......

None of these are actually fabricated stories. One is actually a hyped story about FOX! NO that's not biased is it? I guess it's only non-biased when it comforms to your world view. Anyway, Try again.

The Obama story ...straight up lie about the nature of the school.
The siege on Christmas ... Fallacy made up of whole cloth.Hanity and Oreily in collusion
Kondrake assertion that Nevada democrats are Stalinists?? ...Delusional unfounded rant.
Iraqi insurgents cheered at Rumfelds resignation... Pure crap!
Santorum claims WMDs found.... again a pure lie refuteing all other reports!
Paul wasn't even in the debate? Convenient omission.
One has to laugh at this kind of fairy tale news and the world according to Rupert. Grin  JSharpe, Every time you defend FAUX NOOOZE as a viable source of credible news you do a dis-servce to yourself. No one takes them seriously, no one would take a quote from them seriously, they are basicly an arm of the republicon party spouting ony pro party stories, ignoring what doesn't support the party line, and making up the rest.
Fabrication is the corner stone of FAUX NOOOOOOZE! Any one with HALF a brain and one eye open can see that!

I click one of your links and your 'evidence' is an editorial from..........Keith Olberman? Seriously?

And hell, why not...MSNBC is such a minor player when compared with FOX that it's silly.

Hey, at least you heard his rant. Could probably put everyone that did a VW Bug.

Yeah. You're shocked that this innocent comment could possibly be construed as racist. He said exactly what is quoted below, and it means what it seems to mean: O'Reilly was surprised that blacks act like "normal people".

Pinkt vi Menschen

I’m coming late to the story of Bill O’Reilly, who was amazed at the civility in a Harlem restaurant: “I couldn’t get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia’s restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it’s run by blacks, primarily black patronship.”
Anyway, what it reminded me of was an often retold family story: my great-grandmother visited Coney Island and was surprised to see black families enjoying themselves at the beach. “Pinkt vi menschen”, she said – just like people.

But she was an uneducated immigrant from Ukraine, and this was circa 1930.

Yeah, so what's his excuse?

Didn't he earn a masters?

Exactly.

By the way, the name of this thread is "what if it were Fox News."

Well, what if this report were run on anything BUT Fox?

Quote
Top Military Officials are a Disgrace to Those They Lead
By Col. David Hunt
Our generals are betraying our soldiers … again

Sorry, but I have to get your attention on this one. In both Afghanistan and Iraq, the United States Army — not the much maligned “LIBERAL PRESS” or BILL CLINTON or the LIBERALS IN CONGRESS — NO, the UNITED STATES MILITARY is prosecuting its soldiers for doing their jobs. I have tried, I have yelled, I have used nasty words. I have even tried to use humor, but none of this is sticking. You either do not believe me … or much worse, you do not care.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,298203,00.html

I hate to think what the right-wing reaction would be if CNN were to have run this report.
