Post eaten again....

Parents’ Grief Turns to Rage at Chinese Officials

I've tried 3 or 4 times to post -

It's continually eaten.

Just read the article, I guess, since I can't seem to comment on it.

Last attempt:

I fully support these Chinese protestors and their rage and anger at their Communist dictators.  It is entirely fair of them to ask why their government's one-child policy should strip them of any progeny due to their shoddy construction of schools, while at the same time Chinese Communist Party buildings remained standing.  Fair question.

I just hope they have a better fate and result of their protests than the Tiananmen Square protestors who were murdered in cold blood on the streets.

Of course, the Chinese censors have swung into full action to prevent any media coverage of the protests...

Never let us do wrong, because our opponents did so. Let us, rather, by doing right, show them what they ought to have done, and establish a rule the dictates of reason and conscience, rather than of the angry passions.

Well, you can't keep dictators like the Chinese from the natural dispositions long.

Police break up protest by parents of China earthquake victims

It looks like the China censorship machine is in full swing now, controlling media output.

Quote
Journalists were dragged away from today's protest, which was being held to coincide with a visit to Dujiangyan by Li Changchun, the country's fifth-ranked ruler.

The parents, of course, can get no relief from their Communist rulers:

Quote
Chinese police broke up a demonstration today by angry parents protesting about the deaths of their children in poorly constructed schools during last month's earthquake.

About 100 parents, many holding pictures of their dead children, were forced away from a court in Dujiangyan in Sichuan province.

"Why?" some of them shouted. "Tell us something," they said as black-suited police wearing riot helmets manhandled them.

The parents had been kneeling in front of the court chanting: "We want to sue."

More than 270 students died when one high school collapsed in Juyuan, near Dujiangyan.

The break-up of the demonstration followed a report that the Chinese authorities had ordered journalists to tone down critical stories about the construction of so-called "tofu" school buildings.

I fully support these brave parents that are enraged at their awful government.  I only hope that the Chinese dictators will not machine gun them down in the streets like they did with the Tiananmen Square protestors.

I won't be surprised if they try to use the Olympics to shame their government for its failures.   I wish them luck and pray for their safety.

I think it's important that foreign platforms like this board bring up these stories. They will be hidden in China itself, and the grieving parents will be punished no doubt for daring to question the actions of the corrupt officials of the party and government. Western media, owned by those with massive investments in China, far from being biased in a negative way are in fact biased in an opposite way and far too forgiving of the abuses of the dictatorship. Can you imagine the response if a Western government tried a similar bully tactic on a similar group of grieving parents? The media response would be overwhelming. Instead this story will be buried in the back pages, if it appears at all. It exposes once again that the party's main goal is only to retain power and ill-gotten loot, and it will act in ANY fashion to do so, including this heartless attack on these poor people, something we should all keep in mind in the runup to the Olympics.
