After several months of Inertia in Lebanon and "cold-war" btwn the govt  and the opposition: Doha talks have been achieved with consensus about Gle Michel Sleiman as new President: he was qualified as neutral man!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080525/ts_afp/lebanonpoliticsvotesleiman

quite all countries have saluted this event which would be an open for new page of political life. I think It has stated again that in Lebanon politics there is no winner nor loser, although Jonbolatt seems very weak when he failed to motive his allies (govt) in order to cut Hezbollah transmission network...this event coincides with third memoral of south's freedom from occupation .

Now it seems that politicians have resolve a problem with another problem: same PM: Siniora was put in charge to form national unity govt...after 20 days he looks completely unable to achieve this mission.

How unfortunate Lebanon has fallen into a proxy war between Syria and others.  Sad
... Lebanon used to be the pearl of the east, I really feel for the Lebanese people.
