WOW Reaganite, looks like desperation has already set in.  A rumor? But followed by a quote? But no location provided where such a quote might have been obtained.  Could it be just the expansion and continuation of the variety of racist statements
provided by wingnut operatives?

LOL, most understand with Hillary's beginning and expanding negatives how desperately the GOP wanted her to be the nominee.
Looks like no matter how OxyRush et al tried to make that happen, it just isn't going to happen. What's next more promotion
of riots in Denver?

umm dipshit.. I need MCCAIN to lose...

I hate McCain and would rather Hilalry or Obama beat him... But Obama is such a flawed candidate who has been treated like a mesiah by the DNC and the MSM (although he has been beat by clinton the last two months)

The fact is he is going to go down in flames over the next 3-4 months and McCain is going to win and we are all screwed!

I want hillary or Obama to win along with a Reid and Pelosi in power so they can show america what a liberal world would look like.  It will be the death if liberalism and an awakening of conservative government.

We will have smaller government, less taxes, better energy policy.... I am not talking Neocon .. I am talking conservative..

I guess someone leaked this a while back according to this blog, if you bother to check the date. Amazingly Reaganite only found it today.

Or there is also this one.

It's a bit ancient in the political world as well.

And Justice For All, I listened to the "wise man," but the topic wasn't locked and it seemed responsible to share some reality about this Reaganite post he continued to bring up on other threads. I find it rather strange since a GOP voter who claims to be voting for Obama would want to continue to bring up this rumor about Obama's spouse, but then LOL, GOP voters can at times be more than strange.  Having read this rather interesting post on TPM, it seemd worth while even though this had drifted off page one, to at least share this with hopes it will put this repugnant story to rest.

BTW, Reaganite, Hillary has left the race and endorsed Obama. You're dream is done.

Is Bogus Michelle Obama Rumor Based On A Work Of Fiction?
By Greg Sargent and Eric Kleefeld - June 6, 2008, 6:20PM
Is it possible that the bogus Michelle Obama rumor you've all heard by now is actually based on a work of fiction?

The rumor in question is one that's been circulating in recent weeks to the effect that there's video out there of Michelle Obama saying something derogatory about white people.

Not a single shred of evidence has surfaced to support this claim. Nobody has actually said they've personally seen it. It hasn't been posted to YouTube as you'd expect on something this juicy. Even Republican operatives we've spoken to say they don't believe it exists.

Despite the tenuousness of this rumor, Obama was actually asked about this non-existent video in front of the national press by a reporter the other day. Understandably, he pushed back hard on the notion that he should have to answer such a question.

Now Jim Geraghty of National Review has claimed that the rumor may be based on...fiction. A political thriller called The Power Broker, published in 2006 by Stephen Frey, features the presidential campaign of Dem candidate Jesse Wood, who's aspiring to be the country's first African-American president.

We went out and got the book. And sure enough, in the novel, Wood's opponents discover video of the candidate himself -- not his wife -- discussing with a radical black minister how he will "f--- whitey" when he gets into office, despite all his public rhetoric about racial reconciliation. Here's what he says on the fictional tape:

He said, "You know, I had to put up with so much crap from Whitey when I was playing tennis back in the day, it was ridiculous. Real b****** stuff, too. Tennis racquets busted while I was in the shower, no towels, the worst locker, called n***** all the time, even by the help." He looked over at Osgood. "I'm telling you, Clarence, if I get elected president, I'm gonna act the way I'm supposed to act in front of the camera. Smile and dance like a good black man, do what I'm expected to do like a good boy. But behind the scenes, I'll f*** Whitey, and I'll f*** him good, I really will."
If this was the basis for the rumor, Obama was forced to respond not just to a rumor, but to one that was consciously based on a published work of fiction. Welcome to General Election 2008, everyone!

Most people locked this thread in their minds already. But to each their own.  Wink

Every time Reaganite makes a post that tries to spread lies about Obama's wife, I'll post these true quotes by Reaganite's hero, Ronald Reagan:

He promised to repeal California's fair housing act when he was running for governor in 1966: "If an individual wants to discriminate against Negroes or others in selling or renting his house, he has a right to do so."
Reagan opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He opposed the Voting Rights Act of 1965, describing it as "humiliating to the South."

LOL, bringbackwigs, Reaganite, though he departed from his thread about this repugnant rumor, continued to bring it up on other threads. No guts! No glory! The padlock on my mind,
popped right open while reading on TPM. Maybe an unwise choice to reopen this silly topic, I'll agree. I suspect most will continue to keep their minds locked, but hope springs eternal
and maybe it will end Reaganite's continued attempts to use it to continue to stir negative interest about Obama's wife. Nah, LOL, I probably should have known Wink better.

I'm tempted to lock this and let it sink into IAP's muck.  Pathetic's OP was an obvious lie, the RNC's wet dream that has not come true.  The Republicans face crushing defeats, and they know it.  So operatives go out and post wishes, hoping the sheeple of America are as dumb as they are.  I think our boy Pathetic has actually convinced himself this is an actual story.  Pathetic isn't it.  It's just one more post from him with no substance, and no fact behind it.
