You can find it at the White House page...
http:// www . whitehouse. gov /news /releases /2008/ 05 /20080518-6.html
You can reassemble the url if you want - I don't want to wait for moderator approval.
Anyway...in the speech Bush basically states that democracy is coming to the middle east...the best quote:
" The vision I have outlined today is shared by many in this region -- but unfortunately, there are some spoilers who stand in the way. Terrorist organizations and their state sponsors know they cannot survive in a free society, so they create chaos and take innocent lives in an effort to stop democracy from taking root. They are on the wrong side in a great ideological struggle -- and every nation committed to freedom and progress in the Middle East must stand together to defeat them."
He also talks about how democracy is not merely a western value, and that any nation that adopts liberal ideals becomes only wealthier.

Foreign policies are not liberal or illiberal. They are realpolitik or machtpolitik at most. So I don't see how it matters.

ROTFL, only a Bushbot, and one who is somewhat uninformed would assume a "speech" found on the White House website is anything more than more speechwriter repetitive Bush stuff. SOS for years and I hardly mean "save our ship." I realize as a result of the statement related to previous military service, it is natural to follow the CIC, but please Stratrf_Rus the post is one that show hopeless naïveté. In fact the URL provides nothing when reassembled. If you really expect those to read it all that is necessary is to copy and past it into the box for the post. The link is then automatically created and can be clicked on an read. Now here's one that actually may be more vaiid. For those who are not nor have ever showed your level of allegiance to Dubya though it is a parody one he has tried to have shut down. http://www.whitehouse.org/

I don't think Bush has ever made a inspiring speech, much less a original one or one that is not repetative with the same old crap. The way foward my ass.

And JPN's "pure junk" wasn't leftwing hype. Got it. Actually, most of the commentary on the link I provided above was from Fox "News." But perhaps Patton is so far out in right-wing loonieville that Fox "News" is "leftwing hype."

If given enough time to "cut -and-paste" footage like your little video did.....I could make NPR and CNN look fascist.
But perhaps JPN is so far out in left-wing loonieville that he doesn't see the possibilities........
