No worries Cass. I have gradually arrived at that conclusion long ago. A bit of a mouthpiece to promote Bush really. Man I can't wait to see republican's arse kicked out in November's election.

This the same conclusion arriving skills needed to inform us Lebanon had nothing to fear from Iran...whereupon you were spanked with ruthless efficiency?

Exactly! But don't tell that to Cognac Martel. He would probably think that the movie 300 is a correct depiction of history in the region.

Correct in that Persians did come down to invade but then....I'm not speaking to Spartans here.

Now let's see, those god damn eyeranians invented the UN charter, allowed the jews a passage to avoid the persecution (read the bible), invented the concept of post office, have one of the best mathematicians and scholars in the world, even has given the world's top scientists, businessmen and many other professions in the west including US and Iran. ffs even some of Israel's most prominent politicians are of iranian origin (actually that's not a good example but nevertheless...) It's all their fault.

I noticed their colossal industry and creation and influence on the world. Their arms and terrorist support cancels your lame crap here, their IED technology, the missiles being given to Shia to launch into the Green Zone is the technology and mathematics we see.

Cass, some posts are not even worth a response I tend to give the poster the impression they have won the argument. Reality is different.

Yeah, you do give the impression you don't have the slightest f'n idea what you're talking about. If that's faking it, yer doin a dam fine job. Personally, I don't think you have a clue. Imo.

To be fair you have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt including Charles Chaplin.

Kactus, you know anything of Martel? Put quite a lil whoopin on yer posse sending them back south. Killed their King, hacked em up while they ran. His grandson eclipsing even his status by quite a margin, however.....had it not been for Chucky......Christian Europe wouldn't exist as it does today. Imo.

And I was thinking of visiting Australia, hopefully the hot women are this clueless cause......nevermind...I'm married:)

Good GAWD, Terry, is there a post Charlie makes on any issue that he isn't seemingly dealing with his personal sexuality in one form or another?  I fail to see any relationship what so ever as to whether women in Australia may or may not be "hot" to the topic of  this thread.  Charlie I thought "hot women" were not your primary choice.   One can only wonder what does your personal obsession with your genitalia have to do with whether or not Israel will attack Iran unless enrichment stops?

Charlie I thought "hot women" were not your primary choice.

And I thought you were smart so we both were wrong. Smiley

And...yet another example of your taking us off topic here while you hypocritically rail on against such tangents on other forums. Is there a day you don't expose youself for a blatant hypocrite and unstable emotional tantrum of random error?

I'm sure you're quite correct, Terry. So returning to the topic of this thread, while reading this morning on both DEBKAfile and Haaretz, which as you know often provide far different
assessments of this issue, two worthwhile posts for discussion the first from DEBKAfile.  I will post the second one from Haaretz which is an op ed on a separate post because of the
filter.  BTW, I've not noted any previous discussion of Khan's dangerous actions, though I suspect such information has taken place in the past.  Certainly, there has been considerable information available.  I find it hardly shocking that some would appear to be shocked that this has come forth again.

Iran Has Technology for a Nuclear Warhead to Fit Shehab-3 Missile
DEBKA-Net-Weekly 351 Updated by DEBKAfile
June 16, 2008, 9:50 AM (GMT+02:00)

Urs Tinner, evidence against him destroyed

Some Western military and intelligence were shocked to learn that Iran had the blueprints for making a nuclear warhead that could fit onto its Shehab-3 missiles. The discovery was released by the former UN weapons inspector, David Albright, Sunday, June 16, ahead of the report on his investigation of the nuclear smuggling ring run by the father of the Pakistan nuclear bomb Abdul Qadeer Khan. He alleged that the nuclear blueprints passed to Libya, Iran and North Korea included “previously undisclosed designs for a compact warhead that could fit on Iran’s medium-range ballistic missiles.”

While Terry, I think we might agree that Haaretz may no express the same kind of opinion that other Israeli sites might or even the same as mdma who states he is Israeli does, I found this op ed to make, IMHO some very valid points related to what is an obsession with Iranian nukes by some political figures in Israel that creates negative opinion from other
locations including the presidential race attitudinal difference in the U.S. between McCain and Obama.

Getting fed up
By Akiva Eldar

Excerpt: "The compulsive fixation on the Iranian issue ensures Israel's status in the eyes of creation as the source of trouble. When Israel is perceived as the central factor in the tensions with Iran, it should not be surprised if it is depicted in the world as the major offender in the spiraling cost of oil. John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt, the two American academics who published an article in the London Review of Books, and a subsequent book, about the Israel lobby in the United States, and who placed a significant part of the blame for the sorry decision to invade Iraq, on Israel and its supporters in the U.S., have been quick to claim that those very same elements are now stirring up the Iranian quagmire.

In an interview I conducted with the pair last week in Jerusalem, Walt said that there was no doubt that the Iranian nuclear plan had to be dealt with, but that Israel and sources in the pro-Israel lobby in the U.S. were the only ones putting pressure on the American administration to use force against Tehran."

The complete op ed can be read on the link. As one who has a continuing interest in this very serious issue from both a personal and political stance, I found both articles published
today, one as news and the other as an op ed worth the time to read and comment on, though I do understand this columnist for Haaretz would fall more in line because his history
as an Israeli spokesperson would be more in line with some of my thinking than yours.

Hey,Cass, not very influencial your israeli lobby: Two years we talk about what to do with Iran and still no attack. Instead just more "incentive package" and "hopes for a diplomatic solution"...
Sshhhh!

On top of that we can't say that Ahmadinenuke hasn't done his utmost to provoke the jews. Is short of idea right now, that's why he is so calm.

It doesn't matter Fred, Jewish lobby is a new trend in US. Like MacDonalds was back then, once it over some very fat men and women will sue those conspirators just for the sake of it. This is democracy.

Ppl like Cass remind me of what i've learned about prior WWII Germany. So this time it won't be you my Belgiano-Baltic friend.

It sure seems that way Cass, just ignore the 17 year old brat and he'll tire soon enough.

Just ignore Cass being shredded for now Terry, meanwhile, we've still this statement from you to consider.

Quote
Cass, Israel will not stage a pre-emptive strike on Iran unless they feel an attack is imminent...

When Israel has just struck Syria and historically struck potential danger long before an attack is imminent. It's the third place trophy winner for clueless statements, IamMe remains in second....Cass leading the field.

A telling statement, Mathis. Now......yer sure yer aware of what yer talkin about now...right?
