Fascist!

That’s the most used word by left wing spaniards, to point out those who do not agree with their ideological positions. It’s spanish diminutive is facha. ¡Eres un facha! is one of the typical sentences.

If you have a look at the dictionary, you’ll notice that the word “fascist” has a very clear meaning and when I look at those who are called fascists (fachas) they do not have a single aspect to be considered that way.

Why this behavior then?

Here, if someone believe that the homosexual union have to be called matrimony because men and women are equals, or because they think that it does not matter the genre of the partners to call it matrimony or if you believe that homosexual couples have the right to adopt, it is OK, no problem at all; but if your opinion is just the opposite, obviously, hold it up with reasonings, you are an homophobe and....a facha.

If you believe that the Spanish troops withdrawal from Irak was the best decision taken, because we were collaborating with an illegal, disgusting, repulsive, shameful, terrorists war against a poor country and it’s unarmed people, where hospitals and schools has been bombed,................ - adding as many atrocities as you like is allowed- but if you believe that it was wrong, that we had to remain there, as most of the 32 countries that still remain there, because it meant the interest of our country,........ you are an ultra/mega/ fascist.

If you believe that Israel is, at the same time, the mother and the father of all problems in the ME, that they are the only one to blame because of all the Palestine and Gaza Strip stuff. That they’re living in a soil that belong to other people; soil taken by force and money. That they’ve been killing innocents civilians.................-adding as many atrocities as you like is allowed,…again- but if you believe that Israel is the only western country facing an armed militia in a western border, that they are 6/7 million people, surrounded by 100 million arabs that wish to ”expell them to the sea” you’re a sionist and....yes you’re right, a fascist too.

So at the end, something as simple as having a different point of view, a different opinion regarding the same issue, deserves one of the worst insults in our western culture.

Why lefties keep using this adjective then, when is clear that all examples above, only show two legitimate options to choose from? It does not matter the one you choose, both are legitimates, why one of the options has to be considered fascist?

IMO the purpose is simply insulting other’s people opinions, but the final and main target is make other people, -those who are not interested in newspapers or in internet political forums or in voting a candidate every four years and of course, all lefties-, think that the one who disagree has to be beheaded. Has to be sourrounded with a sanitary belt, in order to avoid contamination. So it is a way to point certain people who has to be isolated, not because “they are fascists!” but because they simply disagree. The word fascists is used just as a tool in order to achieve that isolation and public repulse.

Left wing political people also believe they are one step above the rest in moral and ethic terms, only because their ideological points of view seems to them progresist; non lefties are involucionist. Socialism means progresims, so progresists have the right to point out those “who not hold the truth”. It is some sort of justification for lefties if they do/did something wrong. I mean, for instance, when Hitler began to kill jews, we had lost count about the people killed by Stalin. We still don’t know how many he did kill, 20 million? 40 million? But we all know for sure, we are all confidence that Hitler was and is the worst evil human being the world has faced in History. Stalin owns some sort of moral justification and that’s why we see Hitler as the worst. So lefty propaganda, mainly based on lies, -Lenin used to say that the lie itself, was a revolutionary weapon- is only trying to achieve the isolation of those who disagree.

In Cuba there is something they call “acto de repudio”, that in a few words means 50/80 people in front of your house’s door calling you fascist, colaborationist, US agent...........so we must accept that is more or less the same behavior we face here. The Stalin way folks!!!!
