Oliver Stone's new film is a biographical pic of George Bush, from his fraternity days to the presidency. Check out the trailer:

It is obviously very critical of him. What do you all think? Too soon for this?

The way Stone slaughtered the Kennedy Assasination....I hold absolutely no hope this will be anything near truthful.

Pretty sad that our least favorite president gets this much attention.

Don't go knocking Stone. Yes, Alexander was a travesty, but no one has OCD about his subjects quite the way Oliver does. Every little thing on the desks and the walls in his films is exactly how it was, From The Doors to Nixon. No man has ever made movies that even come close to being as accurate about the subject as Stone does. Were it not for the movie JFK, no one but the most radical among us would even question his assassination and who was really behind it. I'm really looking foward to this one. The only thing in his movies that is off at all would be some of the dialogue, for entertainment reasons, but most of the movie is about as close as you can get. So just remember that if you plan on seeing this movie or any of his others.

Here's the trailer if you missed it before the youtube yank:

I thought Alexander was one of his best actually.  /me shields self

Any Given Sunday, Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, Wall Street, the Doors; these are the films that people should be remembering about Oliver Stone.

I am a bit turned off though about Oliver Stone taking on recent events like World Trade Center.  I think he needs more space in between.  Didn't get to see it yet, mostly because I refuse to but I heard it was in good taste.  But this movie, W, is sort of ridiculous.  But I am sure interested to see how Bush is portrayed.  I see him being portrayed as child.

And guess what...the movie comes out right before the election! How well placed...
