I don't bother...it is just another form of a popularity contest.
It's just a fun little thing to mess around with when you're bored. I smite x3 (spread out over 1 day) thee for writing s shitty article on my cubs and on me. Just wait till you d-bags lose to the d-backs. Then my smite ratio will really look like dogface's. That are what smites should be used for. People that use it out of hate have issues. Unless you're one of the few posters that deliberately try to piss people off. I understand my ratio; I've been doing some moderating in the past week, which is always good for 20 smites. I'll tell you what smites should be used for. I'm in the process of writing some scripts, smite-bot executable files. When my bots are complete, they will come here and smite every poster on these boards, on the hour, every hour. The smiting will continue until I am given enough applauds so my karma is the best. Posters will be defenseless against my diabolical smite-bot plot. |

Well a few weeks ago, I would spend my time constantly trying to applaud posters with negative ratios such as Zee Lee, Wigs, Totino etc, to try and balance their ratio. But when I checked the next day, their ratio would be even more in the negative, meaning someone/people had smited them even more. So I couldn't keep up. Unfortunately there are more smiters than applauders on here.  |
