When the elections started I never heard of Ron Paul. Then everyone started talking about how he would be the best candidate so I started to find out more about him. The more I listened to Ron Paul the more I realized he is an idiot. I always wondered why he ran on the Republican ticket rather the democratic one where his views seem to be more in line with. Get rid of the IRS, stop printing the dollar (and adopt the euro?), get rid of defense alliances, his ideas are off the wall and will put us in third world status quicker than you can imagine. He is an isolationist and does not realize that what happens in this world affects us all no matter how much you try to stay out of it. No Sir, No Ron Paul for me send this guy to the nuthouse

Many here would consider your assessment of Dr. Paul as a little crazy in itself.

He didn't run on the Dem ticket because he is not a Dem. It is not a position of my party that a Congressman should be telling us what the Constitution means, and his particular interpretation of it is hogwash in any party. He opposed the war on one of his rigid, unrealistic, pointy-headed principles, not because it was just a stupid idea.

Hogwash? What specifically?
