I registered here a few years ago, posted a while and then disapeared. I have posted heavily or many years at PC & A and in recent months, Democracy forums. Both are top notch sites, but I am interested a exploring ideas and interests with a wider range of folks. I read what people have to say and like "listening" when people are just willing to talk about what they believe and why rather than merely knocking down the other persons povs.
I know a few people here from other boards and glad to see jpn of Seattle is still here. Since everything has changed since I was last here and apparently my old posts no longer exist, I'll just do a brief intro.
I'm a liberal... with an multiethnic family, black, white and Native American (Chippewa-Cree registered tribal members) very excited about Obama...and very opinionated about the last nearly 8 years of Bush and have little good to say about John McCain.
I'm interested in a wide range of topics and look forward to getting to know new people here.
