McCain puts out an ad DURING Obama;'s Speech

“Senator Obama, this is truly a good day for America. Too often the achievements of our opponents go unnoticed. So I wanted to stop and say, congratulations,” McCain says in the ad, “How perfect that your nomination would come on this historic day. Tomorrow, we’ll be back at it. But tonight senator, job well done.”

Seriously this is nice..

Mccain Will be attacked non stop tonight in speaches, and people will watch it and then see McCain being above the attacks.. Yes, McCain sucks and has attacked like crazy but this add congradulating Obama and saying "Too often the achievements of our opponents go unnoticed. So I wanted to stop and say, congratulations,”

He is putting himself in position to be seen as the better PERSON.... the one that will saty above the dirt and mudslinginga nd work even with his opponants.

Jeeze, McCain's people are really running circles around Obama's people that last few months.

I am getting a wierd feeling that Obama will get a 3-4 point bump from thw convention and when Mccain leaks his pick tonight it will take away the news cycle from Obama.

Then next week the republican convention starts and McCain will get his 4-6% bump and the race will be tied going into the debates.

Biker Dude it's rather simple to find the ad.  It is here from McCain's campaign website. All can then watch and listen.  Reaganite appears to sometimes lack in some his posting ability.

I had no doubt it would be easy to find.  That was not really my point.  My point was that it was meaningless drivel without documentation.  And from one that quite frequently posts things without documentation.

Should I apologize for posting the actual ad in living color? However, Reaganite does appear to have a problem with research or maybe copying and pasting and URL or link.

Got those who didn't care for the McCain ad, what can I say.  Maybe this one is more entertaining. It may even
be the only thing I ever agreed with George Bush about. Enjoy! Or Not!

Good night and sweet dreams.

Obama's challenge from his speech tonight:

"But what I will not do is suggest that the Senator takes his positions for political purposes. Because one of the things that we have to change in our politics is the idea that people cannot disagree without challenging each other's character and patriotism.

"The times are too serious, the stakes are too high for this same partisan playbook. So let us agree that patriotism has no party. I love this country, and so do you, and so does John McCain. The men and women who serve in our battlefields may be Democrats and Republicans and Independents, but they have fought together and bled together and some died together under the same proud flag. They have not served a Red America or a Blue America — they have served the United States of America.

"So I've got news for you, John McCain. We all put our country first."

So Obama challenges McCain to keep the race above the belt.
But since McCain has nothing to offer the nation except more of the same crap we've suffered through for eight years, McCain will go negative sooner, rather than later. It's all he has.

Here is Alex Castellanos' reaction right after Obama's speech, on CNN. Castellanos is a longtime, street-fighting Republican political consultant with a reputation that compares to Lee Atwater's in terms hard-edged political warfare.
