I've never liked this two faced scum bag of a politician but I've really grown some disgust for this man of late especially now that he's speaking at the Republican convention. So I researched a little more about this idiot and here's a few more reasons why he sucks.
1. He’s not really a Democrat even though he poses as one: While he officially considers himself a member of the Democratic party, Lieberman is more conservative than many Republicans. His own party refused to nominate him as a candidate in the 2006 election, so he had to run as an independent to retain his senate seat. Now he's actually speaking at the Republican convention.
2. He supports the Iraq War: Lieberman has remained a firm and optimistic supporter of the Iraq War, in spite of the ever-increasing evidence that the war has been poorly handled since its start and is currently in a state of no progress.
3. He wants us to attack Iran: Lieberman has been quite vocal in urging military strikes against Iran.
4. He wants surveillance cameras to keep an eye on you: On a recent appearance on ABC’s This Week, Lieberman said he wants the federal government to use more wide use of surveillance cameras to spy on people across America.
5. He opposes violent video games: Lieberman is one of those politicians who likes to raise his profile by blaming all kinds of horrendous crimes on violent video games.
6. He turns a blind eye to illegal wiretapping: Recently bringing up the threat that London’s terror attacks could come over to America, he called attempts by congress to investigate the Bush administration’s illegal wiretapping program “partisan gridlock” that was leaving us vulnerable to attack.
7. He refuses to hold Bush accountable for Katrina: Prior to the most recent election, Lieberman made demands that the White House turn over potentially embarrassing documents relating to its handling of the Hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans. Once re-elected, he backed off.
8. He’s funded by porn: Despite his socially conservative views and opposition to sex in video games, Lieberman has accepted thousands in campaign contributions from corporations that profit from the sale of pornography.
9. He’s a pawn of Fox News: Lieberman has been a favorite of Fox News , since he has been so willing to go on the conservative channel and play the role of someone in the “opposition” party who bashes his fellow democrats.
10. Bush loves him: Lieberman has been a loyal ally of the president in the Senate.
