RNC Message to the American People: BOO!!!

Lies and fear. Ah yes, you have the love the tried and true. If you watched the Republican National Convention tonight you heard that Sarah Palin received more votes in her campaign for mayor as Wasilla, AK than Joe Biden received for President of the United States - a bald faced lie. Tonight you heard that Abraham Lincoln founded the Republican Party - another bald faced lie. Tonight you heard that Barack Obama will raise your taxes - yet another bald faced lie. Of course there were many other lies, mixed in with threats that electing Barack Obama will result in another terrorist attack on the United States (a strategy successfully employed by Republicans over and over again ever since 2001).

But possibly most shocking of all, Republicans tonight suggested that somehow, someway, despite Republicans being in majority control of Congress from 1994 until 2007, and despite having a two-term Republican President in the White House for the past 8 years, somehow, someway, Democrats and Liberals are the ones responsible for all of the nation's current problems.

The DNC motto: "Hope and Change".

The RNC motto: "Drill Baby Drill!!!"

Nope, Republicans are not at all one-issue voters. **chuckle**

Lies and fear is ALL THEY HAVE. If they truly presented their goals and ambitions to the American people they would get about 30% of the vote ...the same people who support bush to this day.

We've all heard his dramatic speeches before devoted followers.

And there is much to like and admire about our opponent.

But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state senate.

I like this lady and in 2012 It will be tough to chose between her and Thune.
