Well, with baseball, you can find a lot of weird stats.

Has any team ever swept the whole entire playoffs?

I doubt it. The Rockies are insane. Just insane. Biker, you should go to Game 3.

Joe Torre is out as Yankee manager. Don Mattingly is a possible successor per the AP via FOX News.

I guess you only last so long...unless you manage a shitty team.

Tribe vs. Rockies, eh?

Could be.  We haven't had much exposure to the Tribe, I think the last time we played was like '05.

Well everyone: Red Sox or Rockies? I like the Rockies. They have an aura like the 1914 Miracle Boston Braves, IMHO.

What is the Sox team salary?  Ours is a paltry 54 mil.  Didn't they pay 51 mil just to free their Japanese guy from his contract?

I believe you are correct. Money isn't everything-even in baseball. Just look at the $216 million Yanks-out in round one! Grin

I figured we could change this to an NBA thread since baseball is over. I don't really want a bunch of stickies at the top.

Anybody see LeBron play this year? He's already in Kobe-mode. When he got injured last night, his team just fell apart. MVP for sure.
