And the Cubs...

Maybe no names to you, but I know a lot about these guys, and they are ready.

BTW, it's nice to have Alex Gordon (1 HR), Joakim Soria (1 SV, and 3 SO in 1 inning to day - which wasn't a save because we were up by more than three), and Brian Bannister (7 IP, 0 ER, 4 K against the best MLB lineup) on your fantasy team.

and the cubs what?  Have a bunch of no names?  GMB bro.

I understand its your team and they aren't no names to you but they are to the rest of the country...names like D. Lee, K. Wood (who is old and sucks no especially after blowing our season opener) A. Soriano...Do I need to go on?

No, I meant how are the Cubs doing?

Just giving you shit. It's funny though - nobody realizes that Meche, Bannister and Greinke is one of the best 1-2-3 combos there is right now. And Soria is a mean fucking closer. People are saying he might be the next Rivera (not just KC people, but guys like Steve Phillips).

Add that to solid offensive guys barely into their careers (Gordon, Butler), a proven hitter (Guillen), a tenacious defender and solid hitter (Teahen), an ace at SS (Pena), and a number of role players who won't hurt your team, added with a hungry manager - you got yourself a ball club.

what are you talking about?  He's got an ERA of 3?
I don't know why you are getting all cocky about your team....u do realize there are over 170 games left, right?

I'll be honest, KC has been so shitty for soooo long, I'd root for you guys.  You know what, KC is now going to be my AL team for this season.

He's on my fantasy team, I don't care about your Cubs (or how this had anything to do with the Royals).

Oh, and 3 runs + 3 innings = ERA of 9.00

how bout this one:
http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?mid=200804252587970

It looks like johnson might be better in the starting stop over Soriano.   Reed is hot right now...it'd be best not to disturb at hot bat and glove with a slow starting and injured veteran.

How the hell did the Orioles beat the White Sox and then lose to them later on the same day?

Happens all the time. Looks like Baltimore had the better pitcher in Game 1, but not for Game 2.

Well at least we're leading the AL East.
